All-New Ford Endeavour Now in India

I have one query regarding the Ford Endeavour.

I was comparing the Endeavour vs New Fortuner vs New Tuscon on Cardekho.
I found that only the New Tuscon is BS VI compliant. There was no information on the Fortuner too.

Could learned members of the forum enlighten me regarding this and how much should this factor in my buying decision.
I keep vehicles for minimum 10 years so within a decade i guess BS IV will have to be scrapped.

The Endeavor will definotely be a BS V engine or above, still not sure whether it can be considered BS VI as its an old 3.2 5 cylinder turbo.
Innova and new Toyota Fortumers 2.8 is most likely a BS VI engine only.

Unfortunately no info regarding Fortuner on any sites.

I guess the info should be double checked,
Endeavor I think is BS V compatible, if its BS IV then its sure to hit thr ban after 10 years of its life, Ford is moving to a new Ecoblue TDCi by 2018, so til then all new Endeavor 3.2s should be BS IV, or BS V, the 2.2 and new Panther diesels will be BS VI, I guess.

My endeavour got delivered last week and comes with Sync 3, feels lot better than the sync 2 i saw on the TD vehicle, does not have navigation, but with Android auto you can open gmaps. Could not open apple maps using Car Play, it only opens on the mobile. I use Iphone and Car Play is too good. Siri works with Carplay.

Its better to buy a navigation device than upgrading the unit with Nav.

How about the audio quality of the new Endeavor with SYNC 3 settings. SyNC 2 was not that great with options, its said that SYNC 3 has lot better audio tuning options and one of the fastest touch screen systems too.
The Fords Navigation can be had with around 1.3 lakhs extra cost I guess which makes no sense as a 5k Android phone can do a Google map Mirror with Android Auto which will be superb

Audio quality more or less same, but a known issue with audio controller is fixed, issue with FM receiver is fixed. I like the audio quality, not much control options compared to Sync2.

A definite positive change is the touch screen response and audio command response and the new and faster processor definitely helps for a good experience.

2017 Ford Ranger updates announced: Reverse camera on more variants, Sync 3, Euro 5 engines

Check this out
The current Endeavor is Euro IV which is almost like Bharat Stage IV itself, the Endeavor coming to India by 2017 July or so will have a slight tweak to make it BS V or Euro V level, still no Euro VI for such big engines, as there will be need for fitting diesel fluid filling ports and new particulate filters

I am negotiating with a dealer for some offers on Titanium 3.2. If everything goes fine, will book the Car today with expected delivery by month end. I am really hoping, dealer would offer some good discount

Today I booked Sunset Red 3.2 Titanium 4X4 AT and taking delivery tomorrow. Manufacturing month is Nov 2016.

In fact, I went to Toyota showroom to close the deal for Fortuner top end. But after looking at the arrogance of the sales people, We (self and Wife) decided to ditch it in favor of Endeavor.

Paid a booking amount of Rs 300000/- and balance will be settled tomorrow before delivery. Car reached the showroom. I got 3 year extended warranty, Basic accessories and Teflon coating as free.

Will update buying experience, path that led to Endeavor in my ownership thread
