@Tornado you are spending too much energy searching for the correct size, you can simply choose for 195/60r15 and enjoy your ride, as it is the precise size of your stock tires. While about make,
No.1 Is michelin
No.2 is Yoko.

@ Tornado:Nothing is going to happen sitting at home.

Go to the tire store when you need to purchase the tires and do a test fit.Nothing else you can do.Everyone on this thread has given you what they think will work best. What do you think Michelin will do.No one is going to go and physically check all this for you.

As the owner of the car it is your responsibility to do that.Stop comparing so many things, you are just making a mess.It is in no way helpful to you.

Once you have decided to buy the tires do a test fit.If the tire shop says no, then move the the next store.

We have all given you the all the help we could to be best of our knowledge, it is upto you to put it to use.

Note to all the member:Please give Tornado the space and time he needs so he can make his decision.Let us not pressure him to purchase any tires that he isn't comfortable with.

Fitting 195/60/R15 will not have any issues. 5.5J rim is min. for 195 hence you can go ahead.

My excel also states the small error in ODO/ speed (which is abt 2%) and the min rim as 5.5J

Yet reserching , and hope that stock tyres would last a month or two , so not in hurry .Presently hooked to XM2 195/60R 15. but worried about heavy ness of steering wheel due to 10 mm extra width as I won't be able to tolerate it further .Manza is not EPS but hydraulic PS.

Oh !! I did not know that Manza is HPS, then you need to study how it behaves, if not I suggest you to stick to the stock size as steering will irritate you.

Going with the current upgrade when size is considered 195/60/15 its a very safe bet and you can go for it without doubts

The error of this change is 1.99% which is not a concern by any chance , the tyre diameter would just go from 23.74 inches to 24.21 inches and hence no worries at all i currently drive with a modification error of 2.1% and have never faced any issues

you can ignore all your doubts, i think your only concern would be to select what brand to go for and what are all the options :

Yokohama ES100 (sporty looks, thread pattern and for good roads)

Bridgestone POTENZA RE88 (looks, thread pattern and VFM)
Turanza-workhorse can take rough roads, thread pattern, looks solid

MRF ZLO ( you can bargain for good discounts and its really worth the buck)

Michellin (my suggestion would be to avoid it, much overrated, overpriced and safe for good roads on constant run, but silent of all)

:eek:Finally mischelin responded.
They have asked me to 1)stick to the OE size.
2) They do not have the tyres with OE size
3) They declined to suggest any upgrade in size.
And finally they have told me to not to share this info with anybody.[frustration]
If they decide to sue on this point , their mail would be talk of the country IMO.

Standard expected reply.

No manufacturer will help you with this.If anything goes wrong, the onus falls on them.Hence the hesitation.

Try speaking with other Manza owners who have had prior experience.Don't be shy.If I see an 800 that sounds smoother and runs better than mine, I stop them and ask about how they maintain their car.I do catch them by surprise but since I know so much about my car they do not hesitate in sharing actual user experiences.

@jp , I have requested fellow TAI n Maranprasnth to post here after reading his ownership thread.
Change Tyre and Rim

Went to change the Tyre to a tyre Shop and that time the owner of the shop is a friend of my father and he suggested to go for 195/55R15 instead of 185/55R15

Advantages of ballon tyres/size up

>good Grip
>reduces body roll
>the ware&tare will be even
>Better life

Go for Bridgestone Potenza V rated 195/60 R15 its very good I have covered 27000Kms without tyre issue
Advantages
>Body Roll is reduced
>Vechile characterism is better
>No alteration to bumber or mud gaurd is required.
>Good cusion effect
>Comfortable
>You'll never feel that your on wheels on highway.
>Good stablity and control for 165KMPH+
I'm happy with that.

Don't go for Goodyear-Waste tyres,Michelin not required for Manza

Check for rating If its V rated its best don't go for H rated tyres they are for dry high way use only.

Other Brands:- Appolo, Jk- now has improved and better and MRF be sure you don't go for korean brands or some unbranded
