Fluidic Verna 1.6CRDI Service costs?

my Fluidic Verna 1.6EX CRDI is due for the 20K service ( 9mths only done) What should be service cost for same? Any particular dos and donts?

Which is the recommended service center within NCR who would stick to quotes without any rip offs?

I guess Hyundai ASS are good around NCR, just try to go to a bigger HASS.
Just ask them to perform what is mentioned in Service Manual and no engine decarbonising etc.
Your bill would be in the range of 5-6 k this time as diesel filter would be changed.

I would suggest you to list all the issues in car and take a pre appointment and in just 2-3 hours you will be free from service.

Its been ages I last updated my thread.

My car is about to complete 6 months (22nd Feb) and have already completed 2600 kms till now. I know running is very low for a diesel car but I am pretty ok with it.

Three weeks back while coming from parking of a mall here in Bangalore, I scrapped my front bumper near the fog lamp. I was extremely upset but decided not to paint it at ASS but do it my self. I had already ordered a com-paint value pack long back and it was lying at my home. So my DIY started and painted it as per the instruction provided on you tube and manual. The outcome was good if not great. At least the deep scratch is no more visible from distance. I am happy with the outcome as I really didn't have to spend 4K at HASS.

Today I took my car for a detail wash at near by water service station. The car now looks new as from showroom. I am very happy and worth spending 350 on washing!

Lets the picture do the talking. Also one quiz for fellow TAI members. After looking at the pictures, please find out which side (near fog lamp) of the bumper I have painted [;)]

Looks Bea-utiful.
My guess on painted surface is left side fog [;)]
Spot on Midknight! I am sure it's not that visible from far. I could not take actual pic of the scratch as I was very upset to do that then. I only took pic after repainted it.

More closer pic to see the repainted surface.

I know how much 1st scratch hurts. Good work, but com-paint is a amateur product, its paint quality and paint matching is not very accurate. Its just a ok ok product. You can also put some stickers to mask/cover the scratch area.

The finishing with COM paint is very good. Do you have any DIY pictures ?
Thanks Ansuman. No I could take any pics as I was terribly upset with the scratch and wanted to fix it ASAP. Next time I will surely document it properly.

I agree Soumen. But I feel it's worth the money to cover up the scratch. I will do a professional job once I completely damage the bumper or have multiple scratches. It's not really worth to fix it by a professional and spend that much of money. Thanks to you for documenting the DIY for your scratch. It's then I had ordered the com-paint value pack for 600 INR. I happy with the outcome as it's not very visible from little far. The way the scratch looked was horrible!

Yea definitely its worthful but what I realize it may cover the scratches but it doesn’t provide professional output. The paint itself is not very tuff, with few polishing this can go off. But you did a good job.

Thanks a lot Soumen. Yea it's true that professional touch is something you can never get from DIY paint jobs.

Thank you so much Pradeep. I would love to see your ownership thread on your beauty!

I know the car has run very less to the age of it. I only use the car during weekend drive for long or short distance drive to malls. I usually go to office on my pulsar as getting a basement parking for car is a bit of concern if you are not early to office. Else need to park the car at outside parking and have to take a shuttle to office(around 1 km far).

Is your car a diesel drinker? Please post some pics of your car!

Thanks for your interest on my ownership thread kenkits, I composed my thread already and is in TIP. I dropped the thread because there were ample amount of verna ownership threads in our forum but i feel i should complete and get it live [:)]. Mine is a petrol viper kenkits[;)] and i feel she does justice to the money i spend on petrol.

Welcome, Mine still couldn’t cross 1k km [cry]. I’m so much scare about traffic and peoples on the local roads here that I still using our old car for short drives, with this I can drive through feel free. Only for long drive on highways I use Verna, where I can feel free drive. Don’t know what will happen with the car [sleep].

Now a days just keep the engine start for 5minutes once in a week if I get time .
