Finally booked Blue, manual, delivery expected by 12th Feb. Just cant wait. Thanks to Iron Rock whose posts were instrumental in swaying the decision from 2WD to 4WD.

Next year perhaps the 8 speed gear box version already introduced abroad will come to India too, so will be unwise to buy this one if it is being released as a LE (i assume that this LE version will be the usual 5 speed gearbox).

So as i predicted this run on the tankful was the best ever till date, if not for the last 2 weeks of city driving i could have probably done better, full tank method gave 13.79kmpl while MID was 13.4 kmpl (Didnt exceed 92 kmph on highways )

My MID reading are always slightly lower than actual tankfull readings, what are your experiences ?
On a challenging note - Fellow owners shall we start a miserly driving challenge to see who gets what numbers

I had checked the specifications of Endeavour, was clear that I wont buy the 2.2 Lit, and suspected that 3.2L would turn out to be frightfully expensive. So did not consider it

Spoke to the dealer again today. The SE confirmed negatively about 4x4 Auto. Limited Edition is nothing but an accessorized version of what we have presently with major change being Titanium Grey Alloys.

It happens rarely that the news of Autocar India turns out to be false and after they broke the news, numerous me-too Car gyaan websites posted the same without cross checking/ confirming.

^^ Yes AutocarIndia corrected it after HM raised the red flag , but the truth is that's how most websites function, someone publishes and many(if not all) copy paste - they dont bother to even look for the authentic press release.

The default mode for the MID (or RV Meter in Mitsubishi terms) is set to L200 which might be the reason for the disparity in actual and factual readings. Try changing it to PAJERO SPORT and share your feedback.
