Re: The Mighty Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Drives In [14K Kms Crossed]
Why are you replacing engine oil so early? I read your second service update. It was at 7k kms and this third service at 14k kms you are putting synthetic oil and replacing at 6 months or 7k which is costing you a lot of money. Is oil change compulsory at 6 months? If your running is not high why not go for mineral oil is it compulsory to put synthetic oil from ASS![Confused [confused] [confused]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Confused.gif)
Quick update on the third service :-
I had no complaints whatsoever so was a routine affair, i had got the service done at Shakti Motors , Mumbai for a change this time.
Total Cost - 9640 + tax
Breakup :-
Oil - 6826 (Synthetic)
Oil Filter - 996
Fuel Filter - 1785
Windscreen wash Fluid - 32
The Pajero has crossed an year and also 15k in running, I must say it has run in well now and i am consistently getting average over 13kmpl in the last 5 cycles, i have been using shell diesel recently thanks to the lower oil prices. The last cycle tank full i got 13.21 kmpl. The highway efficiency has improved a lot compared to what i used to get before and i dont exceed 110kmph - its mostly driven sedately between 90-100 cruise control where possible.
The insurance is renewed as well, zero dep insurance at 40k something. I moved the provider to my regular one.
