Sorry for delayed reply. Ride on bad roads is excellent and I didn't even care to slowdown and still ride was very comfortable.

Completed 1000 KM service with No charges.

What is the increase on Pajero sport due to excise tax impact from 1st Jan ?

Congrats Gaurav on joining the bandwagon.
My apologies for the late reply , i have been constantly travelling. Let us know once you get the delivery, blue will be new on TAI.

My third service is done , ill post details shortly, i am chugging slowly towards 15k mark. The Sport has completed an year of faithful service with no hiccups whatsoever.

Quick update on the third service :-

I had no complaints whatsoever so was a routine affair, i had got the service done at Shakti Motors , Mumbai for a change this time.

Total Cost - 9640 + tax

Breakup :-

Oil - 6826 (Synthetic)
Oil Filter - 996
Fuel Filter - 1785
Windscreen wash Fluid - 32

The Pajero has crossed an year and also 15k in running, I must say it has run in well now and i am consistently getting average over 13kmpl in the last 5 cycles, i have been using shell diesel recently thanks to the lower oil prices. The last cycle tank full i got 13.21 kmpl. The highway efficiency has improved a lot compared to what i used to get before and i dont exceed 110kmph - its mostly driven sedately between 90-100 cruise control where possible.

The insurance is renewed as well, zero dep insurance at 40k something. I moved the provider to my regular one.

What is the onroad price of Pajero sport in Bangalore ? Any discounts offered by Hindustan Motors / SVR Motors ? Vijay

While a call to SVR Motors should be able to get you the exact on road prices, there are no discounts being offered on the AT version. You might be able to haggle for something on the manual variant though.

Hi guys, I am from Goa. I have been following this thread for quite some time. After reading the reviews and comments I am highly motivated to buy the Pajero sports manual. But the problem is there is no dealership in Goa. Need advise from the experts on how to go about it?

Buy it from Mumbai on temp reg and get it registered there, should be a straight forward process - let me know if you need more help.

You can also buy it from Mangalore and get it serviced there. Closer than Bombay. The Mangalore dealer is known to me. Let me know if you need any help.

Just observed that Kolhapur is the closest to you at 230km. Give this dealer a shot.
