Train Chaser
February 2016:
Tubeless dream/disaster.
Aramis Tuffian SX 90/100-01. Paid ₹ 1,400.00. Couldn't find any other tubeless. MRF tube-type without tube was quoted the same. Regret the decision. Tyre is good, but all the efforts gone waste. Had to put tube. Tyre is so hard, damaged brand-new rim during installation. Bought 2 tubeless valves, a cheap rubber one and a costlier metal one. Could have bought MRF and saved at least ₹ 200.
Comes with no-questions asked 3-year warranty. Product of changemytyre.
MRF Zapper replica, but too sturdy, may be hard compound.
90/100-10
Tubeless
The cheaper tubeless valve. ₹ 50.00. Bent-type hard to get. Rim hole was small and hard to get another metal one. Paid ₹ 180.00. Tyre was fouling with valve during install. Rim got severely damaged when pushing in tyre. Tyre wall is too much stiff. Had to throw away both valves and put tube. Luckily front tube was new and got it installed.
Brand new rim, before screwing up. Primered and gloss black painted. ₹ 340.00 for rim.
Tyre permanently installed on rim. No way removable without breaking the rim. Puncture gonna cost new rim+tyre+tube
Rim is rusting badly. It was hammered heavily back to shape.
New plate. Stuck with 3M tape.
Front was also installed with 3M tape first on custom aluminum frame, but not sturdy as ready due to smaller area. Bought Pulsar fairing screw and fixed.
