Misses the convenience of underseat storage comparing the later generation scooters. Twist of the throttle kills that comparison . Not a great fan of 2 strokes, but the difference in acceleration is

January 2023 - Updates

Bath time.

Lost and found. Misplaced the brake locks during the rebuild. Found them, two of them.

Lightly buffed.

The hardware - lock, pin, spring and the circlip.

Installed. This small circlip locks everything in place.

Done.

The real hand brake. Engaged.

Handle under cover. 1988 make. Either they made surplus parts or they didn't sell well as expected.
