Hi Guys,
I have some queries:
1. Did anyone get discount anywhere (i.e. free accessories/ cash discounts)?
2. New India insurance is quoting premium as Rs. 13000/- including zero dep. Should I go ahead or find out other options like royal sundaram, TATA AIG etc.
3. Should I go ahead for opting AMC of 2 years (Rs. 8800)? Will it be beneficial considering 3 services are free in 1st year & 2 services are there in 2nd year as per service schedule?
Hi Bharat

Congrats on your new would be tiago.
Discounts you will not get. Its a new car and selling well too.

AMC go for AMC Gold prefereble. So tomorrow you get any issue AMC coupled with Warranty will ensure free replacement of the part. Tatas are good in this way. There are no condition if you have AMC taken.

Insurance. See compare who is giving what on insurance. Zero Dep is good choice. Ensure u have bumper to bumper one including the rubber part. That way it will help you claim for any unforeseen event.

Hi Guys,

I have booked TIAGO P XZ Silver on 30th Apr and SA told the delivery date as 30th-31st May.

Booked from Dealer: Arya Motors, Gurgaon

Do we have anyone in the forum who has booked/got the delivery of Tiago from the same dealer?

The booking status seems unclear till now, as per his latest comment he says he can only give me confirmation just before the vehicle comes into transit. And after transit it takes 6-8 days for delivery.

I have some queries:

Any suggestions/comments are welcome

Thanks,
Bharat
Welcome Bharat Sir,

The car has a waiting of 4 weeks as of now. So the dealer is correct as of now. He can confirm only when the car is allotted to you. Hence the information he is providing is correct till now. It takes a week time in transit. Be in touch with your dealer and keep on pushing him a bit. This is best you can do as of now. You can also contact any other dealer to confirm if they can deliver quicker.

1. No discounts of any type on this car as of now.

2. Are you sure its 13k with zero dep. It seems cheap to me for XZ P model. You can try any other company but I doubt if any one else can match it.

3. AMC is beneficial or may be not. Please note that you can opt for AMC only if you are taking extended warranty. Second point is, it is valid for 30k or 2 yrs. If you drive more say 2.5k to 3k per month than I think it is not of much use. Otherwise it is peace of mind. For next 2 years you do not need to worry for any service expenses on the car. Free service only include free labour and you will have to pay the consumable (engine oil, filter etc) charges. Decide what is good for you after considering these points.

In my opinion AMC is very helpful. Recently my car AC developed problem and noticed a drop in cooling. So took my car to service centre. I was told condenser fan needs replacement.
The part was not in stock and told me it'll take a week or two to get the parts. They did something to that fan and cooling became normal. However I was told fan should be replaced.
So after a week I was told part is in stock and part was replaced. Within a week of replacement AC stopped and I was sweating in a traffic jam. Next day I went to service centre and fan was not working. So it was again replaced.
Parts were covered under warranty and AMC covered labour cost. I paid nothing from my pocket for 3 running repairs. I recommend getting an AMC. It'll save you if you need to do running repairs.

Dont think amc is required for parts. Any part failure will be replaced free of charge under warranty. Do you have a tiago ?

Can anyone post amc costs for petrol? Thanks.

You are right. However AMC will cover labour cost.
However I'm unsure whether they charge labour cost for parts replacement. I bought AMC at the time of car purchase. Thus I'm unclear on this aspect.
No, I do not own a Tiago.

Some more pics of the Red XM Tiago. Looks really nice and sporty on the Tiago. Addition of black alloys and some vinyls would look great.
By the way only XM variants are manufactured mostly for the Red it seems. I am eager to see the interior of a Red XZ model.
Deliveries starting today at Coimbatore and cars being prepared.
Apparently the Blue Tiago XZ with ACTIV kit has been ordered by a customer it seems. The one on display inside the showroom is the Blue XM variant with activ kits and accessory alloys.

Well to my eyes the blue Tiago with body kits looks so classy and in the league with that of Polo. Seriously Tata designers have a great design skills.

the design is not at all shouting with insane chrome, or flashy bits or over the top design elements shouting "look at me" yet the over all product is simply class apart.

I would say design wise Tata are way up in the leagues of european standards.
