I too worried. Mine was January manufactured. I too have the same problem, drop in power & pick up. Also felt more vibration. Raised complaint with TML, but no response till now.

Why can't you talk to your dealer directly. It should be dealt by tata very seriously if it happened so

Well guys for my egg head brain i feel that the changes that would be done to the petrol cars would be around putting some damping materials around gear stick or may be changing bit of engine tuning and few paraphernalia around engine mounts etc. I dont think they will do a major engine remap. So much of these should be available for existing owners as well.
Unless I am completely off tangent, I dont think Tata will be foolish enough to repeat the same mistake done in prev generation cars.
Worst case they should then proactively recall all the first owners cars and do those changes as complimentary /loyalty action so that the first owners are not left high and dry.

Some people say all those who received january - feb manufacture cars suffer this problem. Even jasset replied he had the same issues. My understanding is that we members were already receiving news about the re-tuning of the Petrol engine even before the Tiago's launch. So they must have re-tuned all those stock cars to the new set-up before dispatch. This also must have been the reason for the delay in launching the car.
I think they have already corrected the setup before delivering to customers.
I had driven the "ZICA" petrol and diesel much earlier to the official "Tiago" launch and then recently drove the Revotron again after the launch. I didn't find any difference in the performance of both the cars. And both were different cars.
This news may be put up to convey that, "The state of tune and refinement of the Petrol Tiago HAVE ALREADY BEEN corrected based on the media drive feedback and all the cars delivered and to-be delivered are of a better state of tune than the media drive cars." And we all misunderstood it that the car is just now going to be corrected and there will be a recall for older cars.
I don't think that there will be any corrections or recalls for the Tiago as they had already done enough testing and retuning based on the feedback, which had caused enough delay.

When I test drove the Petrol Tiago last month, I experienced minor (though noticeable) vibrations at the dashboard, during idling. But the vibrations had disappeared when the car was moving & the engine spinning at a little higher RPMs. The minor vibrations during idle is something that is expected from a 3-cylinder engine. I think Tata Motors has done a commendable job to contain the vibrations during most of the RPM operating range.

I don't think one should be worried about it. Don't consider it as a major problem.

Hi Srinivas,
Any bluetooth enabled phone will pair with the Harman for music and phone calls. However, iPhone users cannot use the map feature as it supports only Android phones.

Does anyone has idea about the "active body kit," more specifically, what all does it include? I did not get any reliable answer yet, even their dealerships seem unclear !

There were a few image of active tiago in blue, however, no clarity on what all this "active body kit," will include.

Active body Kit includes front and back sporty looking bumpers and side skirts, Which will help the Tiago to look little sporty.

You'r welcome. those things really costs you 26k. Front Bumper alone will cost you 8-9k or even more with matching paint. I too agree that stock Tiago is beautiful looking car inside out. If I were you, I would have spend money on functional Accessories (power inverter, seat covers etc.)rather than the cosmetic one's.

Got my Tiago (Diesel XZ) yesterday. After driving around 50 km I can vouch that this diesel engine is a gem. I was a bit disappointed when I TD the diesel car. That time I was confused as I liked petrol one out of the two. Now after getting my car, I am sure that the TD car was not up to mark. This diesel is fantastico. Loved the drive yesterday from dealer to home after a visit to Mandir. That was peak hours in delhi and it was bumper to bumper traffic. Everyone was trying to have a peak of this new beauty. .

I found it very comfortable to drive in bumper to bumper traffic. There are rumours that price has been hiked. Let me confirm that right now no hike has been done. A detailed review will be later on.

Hi Guys,

I have booked TIAGO P XZ Silver on 30th Apr and SA told the delivery date as 30th-31st May.

Booked from Dealer: Arya Motors, Gurgaon

Do we have anyone in the forum who has booked/got the delivery of Tiago from the same dealer?

The booking status seems unclear till now, as per his latest comment he says he can only give me confirmation just before the vehicle comes into transit. And after transit it takes 6-8 days for delivery.

I have some queries:
1. Did anyone get discount anywhere (i.e. free accessories/ cash discounts)?
2. New India insurance is quoting premium as Rs. 13000/- including zero dep. Should I go ahead or find out other options like royal sundaram, TATA AIG etc.
3. Should I go ahead for opting AMC of 2 years (Rs. 8800)? Will it be beneficial considering 3 services are free in 1st year & 2 services are there in 2nd year as per service schedule?

Any suggestions/comments are welcome
