Any one have any ide about Tata aig pearl zero dep insurance ?

I am getting a quote of 18320 for petrol xz (4.89 showrooom price).

I am a bit confused about the NCB. Its mentioned ncb is applicable in case of no claim in previous 2 years. Is it the same with other insurers ?
I am getting a quote of approx. 15000 from Royal Sundaram for XZ (showroom price 4.80) for zero dep insurance + Rs 3000 worth of 24x7 roadside assistance.

Can we fix or install rear headrest from company or outside workshop for tata tiago?
Recommend to fix it with the service center guys itself. Not sure if the outside workshop will have the idea as the vehicle is new, you could try with well known seat cover shops.

Hi, guys I spoke to someone from Tata motors he was saying this months sales will be more then double of last month.
The sales figures from various sources and internet will show how the vehicle fares in the market.

Today I test drove Diesel Tiago at Concorde Motors South Ex. My feedback-
1) There is no violent shake up at start.
2) Vibration at idle at gear nob or steering wheel is minimal. Petrol vibration is more compared to diesel. Test car has been driven 115 Km only. So vibration should get lesser in future.
3) Best part is drivability - it pulls effortlessly at low gear. Felt a lot better than the petrol one as I felt petrol one comparatively is sluggish in nature. I test drove petrol thrice so I can feel the difference.
In my opinion diesel would be the better one for city/bumper-to-bumper driving.
4) Didn't drive long or drive at high speed. So can't comment on high speed behaviour.
5) Engine sound is obtrusive inside cabin at idle. However once AC and/or music system is running engine sound is barely audible. As the revs climbs sound becomes a little audible though.

Now the part I didn't like - it is the AC. Car was parked under hot sun. It took 3-4 minutes for the AC to cool down to a perceptible level. So complained to SA and he suggested we extend the test drive. It gradually cooled down cabin. Cabin was cool when we stopped. I feel rate of cooling in diesel is lesser compared to petrol.

I'm a bit confused. I have already booked Petrol and SA assured me he can change it to diesel without jumping out of queue. My monthly driving is around 800~1000 Km. I loved the drivability part. It's the AC which is making me think twice.

For 800~1000 kms petrol is preferable. However, ensure you are convinced with your decision.

regarding A/C, I do have same experience. It is less effective compared to petrol. Still I think it is efficient enough. ( As per conditions here, Pune)

I will suggest you to take TD again to ensure if it is cooling cabin to comfort you. (without comparing to petrol a/c)

cheers

All the cars which is parked in the hot sun definitely becomes a furnace and takes time to cool, If A/C cooling is very important try getting light shaded cars with dark sun-films because there's absolutely no difference in A/C cooling of car regardless of fuel it is running, if the monthly usage is less than 1000 kms, guess the petrol would make lots of sense.

Guys, Sharing my Tiago pictures.
WAW! The Tiago looks absolutely lovely in white! Oh I'm so much in love.
Congrats on your Snow White ji! Wishing you millions of smooth and trouble-free miles! Don't forget to buckle up yourself as well as your passengers before you twist the key!

The red looks good, but need to check it out in person to judge the color. I personally would prefer the Red shade available on the Bolt. Let's see if this is as good.

Congrats to all other owners and to-be-owners on this thread.[clap]

Deliveries in TN are expected to commence after the election results are out. (i.e.19/20th)
I will be visiting the SRT yard/showroom to get some updates. Wonder if the red has arrived here or not. Also hope that the diesel Tiago deliveries should commence right away.

Agreed. Today's temperature was 44 degree and I test drove at 1.45 pm. So can understand slow cooling. [:)]

Espresso brown is also a very nice color and looks very elegant on Tiago. I have tested the Diesel Tiago and Felt it to be much better than the petrol one. The engine responsiveness and power I felt was much better than the petrol one. So had I been in a small hatch market, Tiago Diesel would have been my choice. The color could have been espresso brown.

I love diesel cars and dark coloured cars. [glasses]

Looks like deliveries started. Spotted a white and an orange color yesterday. Orange one was test drive car and white was driven by customer. Looked elegant and compact, none of the design element looked out of place. According to me it is the best looking entry level hatchback in India. period.
