Yes, he stated that the issue happened to him only when the AC was on. May be some power issues/fuel injection may be related to it when the AC turns on..... Not a Mechanic[lol]

Nice review Kishore. Zest petrol is an awesome car. In our group we have a red petrol Zest and i must say its a looker. We have done few trips to the hills and the Zest accompanied us and every time it performed flawlessly. The owner is super satisfied with the car. Sharing a video of the Zest from our recent trip! I was following the Zest in my petrol Etios.

zest presently in service centre, the technical team from tata motors have kept the vehicle to check it thoroughly.

Meanwhile, they gave me a loaner car as a goodwill and it is a tata manza 90HP diesel top end version.

Had a drive in it and boy I am impressed with the car !

The service centre have assured me the issue will mostly be resolved by tomorrow.

But unfortunately, this is hardly followed in India. the faster vehicle grabs the right of the way. Irrespective of whether the vehicle is going up or down the hill.
Hi Viky,

May be true for tourists and non locals, if you see this guy is a truck driver and may be moves down this road many more times than any one of us, he need to heed these rules.

If you notice, most of truck drivers and taxi walas are good drivers and respect the rules more than us. We can excuse the cab drivers as they are always under pressure of time else there is always something new to learn from them.

Cheers !!!

Bang on. This I have observed numerous number of time. Truckers are very very well behaved. Esp the long distance truckers are extremely well behaved. But the rouges are the dumper truck ferrying sand and gravel for construction purpose. The next set of rouges on road are we the private car owners.
We definitely need to learn from the truck drivers. Truck with very less comfort, small mirror, huge slow moving bodies and small cars like irritants zipping from left and right and stopping right in the middle. Two wheelers and 3 wheelers moving randomly on the road. It must be hieght of patience required for these guys to keep cool and cover the distance.
Sorry for being OT but could help myself from writing this. I generally try my best to be well behaved on the Highways.

[frustration][frustration]
Got a call from service centre, they said vehicle is completely fine.

They told to take another test drive. I asked if they inspected the fuel pump, they said if the fuel pump were bad, vehicle wouldn't start again, so there is no need to check the fuel pump.

I am using the loaner vehicle tata manza since 2 days. Not sure what to do next. They are hesitant to accept the fuel pump is the culprit.

done with a 70 kms test drive. all's well as of now.

not sure what ECU settings have been altered, but there are few changes to gear ratios

5th gear - 100 kmph and the rpm is hardly at 2000

the turbo is very prominently kicking in at 2K and there is a good push back feeling at 2K rpm, there was a mild push but no kick previously but now I feel as if I am driving a swift diesel.

Don't know what has been changed. Need to adjust driving to the new gear ratios.

I was doing 120 kmph and the car was hardly doing 2500 rpm. Got a mileage of 15 kmpl with A.C. and 2 passengers.

They corrected the wheel alignment and I confidently took a curve at 100 kmph and there was very minimal body roll. Previously the stature was all over the place at even 70 kmph.
