re: Brand New Sedan Class (Vista QJD VX) 10months - 15,500Kms and counting.

But,

Apart from these service interval difference between the cars, It is highly suggested to visit the service center to have a normal service which consists of some 9 point check something and also get the wheels aligned and balanced for every 5000km !! due to our road conditions

TASS provides something as mini service for Rs.720. They check everything and top up oil wherever required. I recently did the mini service as I am going for long tour. Excited for the same. [clap].

But seriously I think it is worth for all FIAT owners to get the mini service at every 7000 KM. Because after next 7000 KM, it would be your scheduled service.

@Appu

This 9 point check is the terminology of Maruti guys, but it is similar to that TASS mini services. So you can just opt to that with every 5000km[:)] like Dharmesh said.

So far, Everything is Good Buddy. I never felt anything Bad.

They clarify my doubts very clearly & they have enough knowledge on the product.

Did you upgrade your tyre? Or do we have members in the forum who have upgraded the tyres to 185/60/R14 without any issues?

I have upgraded my Vista TDI shoes to 185/65 R14 Bridgestone B250 with alloys. No problem whatsoever, clocked 15,000 KMs. Mileage drop was unnoticeable, maybe 0.5km. But 185 made such a HUGE difference in body roll reduction and overall handling.

@CarCar - Thanks for your feedback. Did you do an upgrade immediately after buying the car or was it later?

My car's stock tyre spec is 175/65/R14 and my car is a 2009 model and I have done close to 39K on those tyres. The stock tyre is GoodYear GT3. So, thinking of going to Apollo Acelere.

I read in the online forums that the perfect upgrade will be 185/60. Any reason for going to 185/65? And is it safe to do an upgrade now to either 185/60 or 185/65? My only worry is that it should not mess up the suspensions or the steering.

@roadracer,

I'm still using OEM tyres & Discs. I may go for alloys by coming Jan. I'll upgrade the tyres once OEM tyres worn out.

@AppU - Have you decided to what spec you might upgrade?

Still not decided buddy, I need to check the Pros & Cons before upgrading. Except our fellow member CarCar's Vista, I've not seen any Vista with upgraded tyre[frustration]

Now, I've a doubt. Is R15 will suit to Vista perfectly? or shall I go for R14 with 185/60 or 185/65?

but, Before upgrading to alloys, I'll decide about upgrading the tyres. So that I'll install the Alloys in future point of view.

True. Even I have never see anybody putting up long term reviews of the impact of the upgrade. @CarCar is the first member that I have ever seen in an online forum putting up long term reviews of the upgrade.

Hence my worry. Most of the forums say that the ideal upgrade will be 185/60 but this will slightly reduce the GC. Better don't go for R15 as it will definitely void your warranty/extended warranty.

I am even worried about upgrading to 185 combination because am not sure what the long term implications will be on suspension and steering. Vista's/Manza's have soft suspension and greater wear and tyre and also you have these alignment problems.

@CarCar - Does 185/65 fit into the spare wheel section of the boot or are there any issues?
