In XZO Auto AC is also there which is not present in XZ.

Bud, 3rd row is not there in Tigor[lol]. TML is still not thinking of Tigor based station wagon or 7 seater!

I find the left side indicator has a faster cut-off time.

Is it +2 or -2 error?

Regards

Akash
1. Yes I missed Ac in that list which I dont think the 35k premium.

2. Please read it as second row. Typo.

According to my calculations, mid reading always shows 2 kmpl more than what I actually get.

Friends,

My car reached ~3330 kms. No issues till now. Works fine. No Tik-Tik or Tak-Tak sound so far from anywhere. As per tankful method (from reserve light to full) the F.E shows 15.0 Km/L with 2 point AC in CITY mode. Usage of my car is 60% city and 40% highway. Average per day use 50 Kms (Excluding Sunday). I have nothing to complain. I only have this much of update for now[:)]

First service update:

Service center: Concorde, Diary Circle, BLR.

Average service.
1. Car was picked up and dropped
2. I was accepting an itemized bill on what all got topped up but I didn't get any.
3. There were few very minor scratches which were not there before pickup and drop.
4. I am not sure if alignment or balance was checked or if it is required in first service.
5. Car audio shutting down problem : Person told he has updated the firmware. But to my surprise, version number was same. (I had noted the version number before giving it to service). Later on call when asked, he told, whatever I had WAS the latest version and he just reinstalled it. So far, I have not encountered audio system shutting down problem.
6. There was dust on the rear windshield.
7. All they was to apply a lot of sticky polish on black parts of interiors and make them suck dust like a magnet.

An update about the drive to Nilgiri Ghats:
1. Felt under-powered at places with good amount of inclination.
2. It so happened that I was going on Mudumalai-Masinagudi-Ooty route, vehicle was loaded with 4 adults and 2 kids, boot full of luggage, I was following a wagon R which had a lone occupant and was going slowly. Suddenly at a hairpin bend, he somehow decided to stop and I had to stop too. After which my vehicles couldn't move from first gear! This never happened in my previous MARUTI EECO 7 seater (4 cyl, 1.2 L engine) I have been to many ghats in EECO and never felt under powered in ghats. Then I had reverse all the way back around 10-15 feet and start again. This time it climbed. Also, everyone in the car felt a little but burnt smell which stayed for 5-10 seconds and then subsided quickly. And all was normal after that. I am not sure if I need to take my car to service center and get the vehicle checked.
3. Once I rev hard in first gear and reach speeds upto 15-20 KMPH on hilly road, still 2nd wasn't enough to keep me moving, so at places had to over rev in first gear.
4. Again this happened while climbing from a parking place of a hotel.

I am feeling since the car is heavy, at places with heavy inclination and loads, car is feeling a little under powered.

Mileage: I have tabulated my mileage observation :

Your write up and my comments :

  1. After which my vehicles couldn't move from first gear --- Hope you were not in Eco mode and hope the ECM did not cut off fuel supply. Better check it out.
  2. Everyone in the car felt a little bit burnt smell --- Smell could have come thro' AC Ducts, but, WHY ? Better take car to A$$ and make them find the cause.
  3. Second (gear) wasn't enough to keep me moving --- Happens with a 3-Cyl engine, in Ghats. You will get used to it [;)]

Going by Bangalore Tiago owners, Concorde branches a bit lethargic in ASC work. If you can find another dealership nearby your place please try them.

Use hand brake and build more revvs (~2500 RPMs) before engaging clutch in such scenarios. I had the same situation @ kodaikanal last month at an awkward intersection with high inclination.

This happens only during first few high revvs and then goes away as the engine runs in. I thought this was over with Tiago but apparently present in Tigor as well.

Better to Up-shift at 30kpl or so, this has to do with second gear's ratio as well. Coming from Eeco drving, it will take some time to learn the manners of this car. [:)]

Thanks Prabhagar. Both TASC near my place are concorde. Good to know burning smell is not a big issue. Seems i will need some time to get adjusted to 3 cyl engine as Vijay_968 also mentioned

But this has not happened with my Wagon R. With 4 adults and 2 children [with luggage], I have found 2nd & 3rd gear to be most usable in Ghats. 1st gear was required only on extremely steep inclines and very low speed [very rare]. There too it has never happened that the car did not move forward as happened with prashantonkar87.

May be it is due to tall gear ratios and heavy build of Tigor.

Hello,

I scraped my tigor in an apartment parking lot.

My first scrape, I was extremely tired after 200Km journey and 2 hours extreme bumper to bumper traffic.

How can i fix it,I'm a complete noob at this.

What's the best possible way to get a factory finish ,a reasonable price would be good too.

What option do I have ? :(

Today got a chance to have a ride in Tigor, which is bought by my mom's cousin 2 weeks ago at Bangalore. He purchased his Tigor at Bangalore as he is presently working there. The version he bought is XT Petrol and it costed him Rs.6.4L after discounts and colour is Red.His elder brother, who has 2014 end Dzire VXI,got the car accessorized like magnetic sunshades, black leather seat covers and roof stickered to matte black. And,what I liked in Tigor is the Harmon Kardon music system, which I felt the best I've ever heard. Its far better than my 2014 City music system and other cars music system.Even my mom drove this car today and she liked it.Remember, she is driving Petrol car after long time as she drives Honda City Diesel to her work daily. The person, who has Dzire, felt way better than Dzire in terms of power,FE and build quality. He took delivery on 17th December at Bangalore and after 2 weeks of buying,he drove down to Hyd from BLR and the odo reading when I saw was 765 Kms.Now,he will get the first service done at Hyd itself and leave to BLR.

The FE he got during BLR-HYD trip was around 22 Kmpl. And,already the car got shunts, thanks to BLR traffic.First one was hit by an uber driver and car got small dent but nothing happened to the car as uber vehicle suffered lot of damage and will be getting fixed during 1st service and he got a small scratch while parking the car at his place.

Friends,

Car completed 5000 Kms today evening. Tigor is going as expected and I am loving it's service to me. Fuel Efficiency is between 15 to 15.5 Km/L in City driving.

Used the car's rear defogger 1st time today and to clear mist on front windscreen the blowers did their job well. No complaints so far. Its working nicely. Absolutely Happy[:)]

My Experience with TML Noida Dealer & Level of Customer Satisfaction being offered by TML.

I went on Sunday to the Noida dealer for getting the number plates changed and get the side molding fixed in my car and inquire for the scheduled 2nd free service. That day due to delivery rush, their senior executive suggested me that they'll arrange a visit from their showroom and get the work done at my home itself as per my convenience. I requested them to send their person today i.e Tuesday between 11 am to 12pm. The accessory price quoted to me by the accessories section was Rs. 1900/- but I readily negotiated the price to Rs. 1000/-.

So, today in the morning, I reminded the gentleman to send their person at my home and as expected at 12:15pm their person came in and replaced the number plates and then fixed the molding on the doors. The job was done to my absolute satisfaction.

Now, based on my previous experience with the TML Dealer & the experience today, why should I complain or crib about TML? Give me one genuine reason to crib that TML hasn't provided desired support or hasn't been up to my expectation. If as a customer I am treated well and my car is taken care of by the dealer well and as a brand TML so far hasn't given me a single issue in past 5 months and 5700 Kms then why should I even think of projecting or supporting a wrong image for them unnecessarily? If I am expected to confirm to the half-baked views of a few for TML then I am sorry, I will not do it and neither will I entertain that.

With this sort of service being provided to me as a customer, I can safely say that TML are working in the right direction and in a positive way they are earning respect & customers. Good Products coupled with good customer service is the mantra for long term success.
