Friends,

My car completed 10K Kms yesterday. It has been 8.5 months of ownership and so far it has been a pleasant experience with the car. No issues till now. Couple of days back, one of our tenant's son had scratched the car's hood, A-Pillar & right front fender with a broken wood piece. Hood was affected majorly but thankfully the scratches did not damage paint. So, applied rubbing on all of them and then applied brake oil. The scratches reduced considerably and being Silver color, they are not visible even in daytime now. Upon confirming from the CCTV, he was found as culprit hence told the family to vacate our home asap. I am really disappointed with this sort of stupid behavior of the kids.

Hi Akash,
Can you confirm if your spare wheel is of size - 175/60/R15? Strangely in Brochure it shows 14 inches for XZA.
Also the rear cam is placed in the Chrome strip above number plate which is not there in XZA , would it be advisable to drill that part to install from aftermarket cam ?

Hi buddy, Here are the pics which will surely help in your query with regards to the spare Tyre and the Tyre size in the variants of Tigor.

As for the rear cam, the aftermarket installation can be done on the rear bumper like in many other cars. Do make sure there is no slicing of the wires during installing it.

I think it has changed now, new Tigors are coming with Spare Tyre as 14 inches for XZ, XZA and XZO (P) . Checked with another person who got XZA delivered last week.

I am not looking to get bumper drilled for rear cam. Are there any other options ?

Did anyone buy Gold AMC for Tata Tigor ? Is it worth buying ? Any answers for above ?
IMO, 3 year Gold AMC is a good buy. Otherwise, buy P2P for 4 years/60K km and stay put. Tiago/Tigor don't have costly service bills as long as you don't fall for hoaxes like engine coating, door hinge greasing, AC cleaning etc.

Even, I am looking forward to answer of this. These showroom guys are clueless about the details of these plans.
Please shoot an email to customercare@tatamotors.com, they should be able to help you.

^^ They did give me the plans. You can buy anytime within one year at same price.

Gold AMC price Tigor XZ/XZA/XZO (petrol)
1 Year - 15K KMs - 4377
2 Year - 30K KMs - 9040
3 Year - 45K KMs - 17630

I feel the Gold AMC is worth as it covers lot parts which are not covered in extended warranty. Check with your dealer for details.

Thanks everyone, It seems to be good plan since it covers all scheduled services and any unexpected issues as well. But, do I need to buy extended warranty also if I am already purchasing Gold AMC. What are the major difference between the extended warranty and AMC.

I have also sent email to customercare@tatamotors.com

I am having Chevy Spark which came with 3 years cashless ownership option which I extended for another 2 years. This options was great and covered all service charges, consumables, parts and lubes. All I needed to do was put Sign on final bill, I am expecting to have similar kind of options from TATA under this AMC option.

Anybody had music buffering issue on Tigore XZO, I was doing PDI and when I connected my Moto G5s Plus, music was cutting/skipping continuously.

I have asked them to check what is the issue, but just wanted to check here if anyone else experienced the same issue. I remember Stormed face the same issue and mentioned the same in his review of Tigore but no solution was posted.

I'm about to do the PDI in couple of days for XZA. Will check my Moto X play and let you know.

Posting it on this thread too for wider reach. :)

Any news about the launch of the Tigor JTP version?

I read it somewhere that it is going to have the Nexon engine. Is it true? If it is, it would be amazing combo. But then I just wondered, why Tata had to do it in association with someone? Why not by themselves? You have the car, the turbocharged engine, then what other refinements were needed to be done in association? Why not do those refinements on your own? Sorry if it sounds naive. Can anyone please guide/share their thoughts on this?

Regards,
Bhushan
