Kite5 is Production ready.
Media Drive will be held in end-January 2017.
6 colours to be offered.
Exact details not known but White, Silver, Blue, Orange are a given.

May be I am commenting too early but that chrome strip on the trunk lid appears over done. Also tail lamps of Tiago looks a lot better than Kite5 to me. Nevertheless, I very much look forward to see it in flesh .

Agree with you partially.
Chrome strip surely looks out of place.
Taillights are LED so let's hope they are good.

P.S. Felling sad that I opted for Tiago. Should have waited for it .

Definitely an attention seeker. But is it me or the rear bench looks cramped enough for a 6 feet adult? Should wait for its release and an official review though.

Either needs a bigger wheel or has to reduce the ride height. Come on TATA.

Well the car looks great. Few things i feel that should be done is the tyres seems to be too thin/narrow. probably that is for more fuel efficiency. Tata seem to be following the suzuki here. I would definitely for broader ones. yes FE may get impacted but I guess ride may be more comfortable.

now when i saw this image i was excited.

but looking at spy pics the it looks odd just like every other sub 4m car looks like.

Just saw that alloy design is the same.
Also the camera angle has to be blamed for weird looking rear design.

We need to see it in flush. If you check all the sub 4 meter sedans. They have compromised some design elements just to fit into the indian standards.

I felt this is looking good when compared to the others in this segment in the pictures. This is my personal opinion.

Kite 5 will have it's work cut out from day 1 of it's launch, as it will take the pack leader Dezire head on, I'm sure the vfm and price package will make it do 4/6k initially, just by looking at Tiago numbers, and all said and done Tata ASS has improved by leaps and bounds, my personal experiences.

Caught Testing on Pune-Mumbai highway. Again brake light pattern clearly visible. I don't know how this test drivers are manage to flee that fast. I was in my indigo and just behind the Kite 5 I wanted to take photo from front side but when he took turn withing 2 min he managed to disappear from my eye sight. he was really fast.

Some good news :-

The Kite5 sedan will get LED rear tail lamp sections and bi-xenon projector headlamps.
LED number plate lights will also be on offer, and there will be LED in-cabin roof lamp as well.
Name and Wheel size have not yet been decided.

+1 to this. I loved this pic by the water side and didn't quite like the current spy shots in brown. Not sure if colour is making all this difference. Will have wait to see the production version in silver to know the exact differences though.
