Tata should hurry with Baby Tigor so that it will get headstart as Maruti and Hyundai are also ready with the new launches in CS segment ie new Dzire and Accent already doing test runs on the roads.

One more thing- Tata should go with full guns blazing this time with perfect pricing like Tiago and introducing AMT at the first go with ABS and Airbags in all the variants, to give no point to the bashers.

Common Tata fight like there is no tomorrow

Insiders, any info on Tigor's petrol engine? I know it will use the same 1.2L Tiago engine but in case they retune it for Tigor.

Also, any launch date?

As per RavenAvi, it will be same as Petrol, no retune for Tigor.

Diesel will give around 80 PS

I agree. A price of over Rs.9 lakhs for the top-end Tigor model is just not sale-able, especially when the top-end model of Zest comes at around Rs. 9 lakhs. I think the Petrol-powered Tigor models will be priced around Rs.75K over the corresponding Tiago models. While the price difference between Diesel-powered models could be around Rs. 1 lakh, with the extra price difference to justify the use of VGT (if it is actually being used).

The pricing of Tigor from 5.35 to 9.55 Lakh.
I think they are introducing automatic variant at the price of9.55 Lakh.

1.05 L diesel engine at a higher price and no introductory offers .
Let's wait and see

Don't know where you got this pricing which isn't true. Tata will price the car competitively for sure. It doesn't make sense if the pricing of Tiago starts at 3.20 lakhs and there is a difference of 2 lakhs between Tiago & Tigor.

The pricing mentioned in the below link makes more sense though:

Don't know where you got this pricing which isn't true. Tata will price the car competitively sure. It doesn't make sense if the pricing Tiago starts 3.20 lakhs and there is a difference 2 lakhs between Tiago & Tigor.

But we no need to bang our head about Tigor pricing, its safely we can expect 50k to 70k premium over TIAGO ranging from 4.40L to 6.6L ex-showing not more then that

Agreed. The price difference between Tiago and Tigor won't be more than 50-70k range.

motoroctane's may have provided expected on road price of Delhi. Eg: The cost of Tiago in Pune is 50k more than Delhi.

Well there is a catch here. If the pricing is 50K -70K variant to variant basis, wont that cannabalise the Tiago? Bolt had a failure since the pricing was around 50K compared to Zest.

Below mentioned are the price speculated by an insider, however it might change 10k to 20k as negotiation is still on with suppliers for specific parts.

3.84 Lacs to 5.89 Lacs - Petrol engined
4.52 Lacs to 6.66 Lacs - Diesel engined

Add another 40k to 60k for AMT variants

Amazing pricing considering outstanding design, Auto Climate(ACC) and Harmon system on offer along with the all the positives of Tiago
