TATA Kite looks stunning overall design but i fear that still had some rough edges observe on below spy snaps. The Honeycomb grill looks like facing with inproper design plastic quality looks like cheap this is not expecting from tata hope so that whey sortout this in production model

Which plastic quality. Interior? Design is good for sure. Exterior will have even panel gaps and nice design elements.

US or UK ? Did Tata Motors have a testing facility in US. Definitely they have TMETC in UK.

I don't understand why US? It's not that there is any technology which Tata is getting from US or it's not even the export market for such kind of cars(sub market hatchback). Bolt caught testing in Italy which was understood as Multijet technology was taking place maybe in Fiat facility and Tata's own center. Don't know why US?? Any idea

look at on front honeycomb type grill between headlamps plastic seems to have some rough edges [anger]

maybe TATA outsourcing Test facilities for their Upcomming cars to produce high quality products

TATA Motors sourcing some components from USA and still some components are importing from usa for cars like indica/indigo/nano so for that reason tata testing their cars in USA using special testing equipments to test vehicle performance

I don't think thats the case as the pics posted by me few posts earlier, donot show such gaps and due to camouflage gaps increase the shut line and cavity comes out. And these are pre production pieces and will be much better once get in the proper moulds...hopefully[:)]

iam not saying about any panel bags or shut line iam just saying about grip section

What are the parts you are referring to? Please share as am not aware and never even thought that US sourced parts are used in such cars

The section that you are talking about .. I have feeling that it will go under the head light unit and a chrome line will follow throughout as in zest. I think humanity line what they call it. Check the pictures posted maybe it will speak something else or might be am getting it wrong aswell

I think you didnt catch my point bro once again try to observe photos by zooming in my post iam also surounded with yellow(observe on honeycomb holes in grill) mark it may help you to observe clearly

search import and export data in zuaba.com

tata imported indica mirror holders in builk quantity from usa and tata also exported few tata nano twist XT cars and several 100 units of TATA Xenon XT Pickup truck and some builk spare parts of xenon into united states but we never found any news related this in US news portals [surprise][surprise]

Arent we nitpicking a bit much ? People are now spotting so-called problems even in the test mules of a Tata car.


If you look microscopically at any car in India, you will find rough edges, even in the highest of segments. But people have a problem with anything Tata, no matter how sturdy and economical they are. Totally uncalled for.

What Tata should do is launch it ASAP. Make some wave. Genx wave has subdued. They are not marketing at all..!

Rumoured - Lionel Messi as brand ambassador! upcoming TATA Kite and also for TATA Motors

Leo Messi will be a part of the Tata Kite launch, which isn't too far away. A formal announcement is expected in August or September, 2015. Some units of the Tata Kite have already been shipped to Spain for shooting ad campaigns.

But how many of the POTENTIAL customers will be able to connect with Messi ?

Would it have been better to rope in Senior Bachchan or some other famous Bollywood star than Messi ?

If you read it in lines with entry into Latin America with the help of Fiat[;)] doesn't that make sense ?
