How poor that will be. A better car selling a quarter of the poor one. If Tata gets AMT here, then that will be USP. The challenge is, this one uses new and Tata developed engines. Service even though improved still having problems. With these new engines and untrained staffs result in chaos.

Even the mighty H and H too are not able to do so. Now July numbers are out. Tata still in the same league. 10000 odd units. When Kite arrives, it may sell 2000 odd . When we can see Tata selling 15k units. Its the UV units that is letting down things. Going offtopic. Let people decide.

It seems sales are slowly (v slowly) moving up.I hope for this is not an initial blip after the AMT nano that will soon fade away. The problem for the Kite is that it will be launched after the TUV, so the excitement of the new vehicle may be lost? Timing and price are going to be crucial;still feel that the Bolt and Zest are priced higher than the perceived value. Hope TML gets these spot on for the Kite sisters

This patent images belongs to TATA BOLT Sports Concept i think the above website misguided the news there is lot of difference between above patent image and original TATA Kite pre production design images

Dash board look pretty and well laid out. I like it.
The two cubby holes are Indian specific.............

Idol placing area and mobile holding area.
[:D].....[lol]

Jokes apart expect the dash to be basic and uncluttered.

No, as per my understanding it can't be basic as the main rival is i10 grand and TATA is benchmarking kite against grand. So we can expect better dashboard.

The dashboard desing somehow reminds me of aria/hexa [clap]

I guess they are not cubby holes they looks like parts bin tray to keep our stuffs above the dash board because indians love to place items on above dash board [;)]

dashboard design deoesnt match with HEXA's dash but somehow you can feel Indica v2 DNA in dash design as per my observation tata kite comes with pretty well laid out design with lots of storage areas like above gear knob and below the AC control knobs and guess what below the steering wheel too just like TATA Indica v2

Might be true... Why I said Hexa cause of the coul type upper line flowing end to end not like zest or indica at all.

One more thing .. I can understand the left box for storage but the other one(above the ac vents) didn't make sense as per the design. May be something missing or some other part ti be fuxed there. It just look complete

its looks like a flat surface above the AC vents may be its a provision for to keep God idols and perfume bottles or tissue paper boxs [evil]

Whatever it is, Tata is truly getting serious i feel and its about time. But the major problem with them is thier marketing, they have an awesome car like zest which had very good following initially but they failed to keep the brand going. Hope they launch these cars soon and start adding more Tata's on road and get more marketing done.
