yes TATA Motors present in these two market from long time cars like telcosports,safari,indica/indigo and vista sold pretty good numbers in these markets for short time period

Tata Patents Kite’s Front Grille
Tata Kite, the front grille of the hatchback has been leaked via this patent image and carries the bold design language seen on the new Zest and Bolt models. There will also be a chrome lip above the honey-mesh grille for a premium appeal, while complimenting the design will be large sweptback headlights. Power on the hatchback is expected to come from a newly developed 1.05-litre diesel engine under the hood that will be put up against the Maruti Celerio DDiS in the same space and will be a frugal unit. In addition to a hatchback, Tata is also prepping up a compact sedan version that will go on sale next year.

Tata Patents Kite’s Front Grille

I see i10grand, and celerio also being driven along with Kite hatch. This means that they are testing all the cars simultaneously, the cars that kite is going to compete with. waiting for the car to be launched.

I think the car looks good in hatchback form from all angles. And I don't think there is any signs of Indica lineage from external shape. I was particularly impressed with the sedan form in one of the recent spy pics. It looked like a perfectly well-balanced shape. It's going to be tough to choose between the hatchback & CS forms of this car in terms of design.
Pics with Narain clearly suggest that the testing is in the final lap now. And the car seemed to be in the top most version with Alloys & everything. Can we expect the launch of the hatchback version by the end of August or early September??

Well Tata might plonk in all the goodies just like they did in Zest however, i will not anticipate insane numbers as suzuki gets for paper thin cars. i think any figure between 2 to 2.5 k per month will be a respectable figures for this car.
The zest seem to have settle around 2k mark and bolt at 500 units permonth. I guess kite hatch should go between 2-2.5k month.

we can not campare tata kite performance with tata zest sales because both cars are different when TATA ZEST launched every one show intrested to buy tata zest people refered as its all new car sales figure also good around 3k to 4k but after launch of tata bolt every one realized that both these cars are not all new products they are just facelifted version of existing products so sales performance reduced to 2k for zest but this will change in tata kite because they looks and feel like a all new products with all new generation engine line up.
If TATA managed to gain good ARAI mileage figures of TATA Kite petrol(22+ kmpl) and diesel(25+ Kmpl) then sales performance will be around 3k to 5.5K thats for sure
