As suggested by other websites Tata Motors registered three names- glade, boom and mobia.

Something is cooking in TML. May be a hatchback, a notch back and a Compact sedan.

Or tata is altogether entering into a new forray.. May be a compact station wagon which is not a station wagon not a notchback something in between :) lets see

TATA Also registered ZICA and Sway names too

I dont think it will open like verito. the images the boot line is seen. this means that its definitely not going to be a drawer like boot opening in KiteSedan.

So it will be like a skoda/accent viva type opening or conventional boot opening.

I would want it to be different from conventional stuff so would want it like the skodas.

Won't it be costly? The conventional arrangement is cheap and the entry level compact sedan with hydraulic arrangement might not be on the cards..my thought..

As hathback rear door(hatch) proves to be more costly than a sedan door and Skoda like arrangement would require hydraulic shocker, a big parcel tray and could be a big glass which will definitely increase the cost

The car still seems to be some months away from launch. Earlier in the year, the expected period of launch was July-August. But it seems to be closer-to-year-end kind of launch date. Does anybody have any updates in this?

You are quite right here. But you we tend to expect a whole lot of world when it comes to wishing features in new car esp. from Tata.

Well going by the Brand Image Tata has among us buyers. they would need that and a whole lot more to lure the public from THE ONE BRAND which we blindly go for even though they offer whole lot less safety.

If that's the case I have one wish/suggestion that Tata should try to incorporate:

A touchsceen or led screen odo meter with changeable background ie u wish to see analog/digital reading do that.. You want rpm and odo ..get it so on so forth n this will not cost a fortune and would bring new era of technology

Or can install a tablet instead of conventional ice as shown in their own pixel concept.

If someone can send this suggestion to Tata would be great. Tata are you listening..

We cant expect TATA Kite CS launch this year i guess tata will launch TATA Kite Hatch back by end of this year maybe august to october time period

I'd say Tata should thrown in everything including the kitchen sink, but generally speaking here is what i would do if i had the choice.

1) Name the car right
2) Rope in some star power (Bollywood heros, cricketers, regional heros)
3) Give good color options
4) Somehow get good ARAI mileage even if the real mileage doesn't match since i feel irrespective of ARAI all cars tend get a similar number in real life these days
5) Add Rear AC Vents, Add small nitties like bottle holders (1ltr ones) Rear AC events should be possible i mean if Grand i10 can have it why not Tata.

yes, I have. But both will be different in functionality.

The one on th Kite twins will be made by Clarion (I think) who supplies the same on Vista Tech.
