If your parents dont like the Baleno rear seat comfort or attitude of Tata guys, I suggest considering New Dzire, Amaze or even the Verna.
Youll get good after sales, comfort etc
Tatas arent bad but certainly after sales experiences vary everywhere as per ownership reports and for parents, I think its best to stick to tried and tested brands and after sales since they wont be able to run around and ensure the car is niggle free, the way younger gen like us can

I think Verna might get heavy discounts now that facelift is round the corner
Ciaz is also a good option
New Dzire is also a very solid looking contender too

I know its a stretch of budget and a different segment but youll get better rear seat comfort, ingress, egress etc(Dzire has larger wheelbase etc now and I believe its no longer sub 4m)

Like the earlier commenter, I too would suggest an auto car for parents. In fact I think everyone should move towards autobox due to our traffic situation.
They once test drived an aspire auto and both of them didn't like it(they were comfortable with clutch and manual transmission). They said its easy to drive but not fun.
So I don't want to give them a driving experience which they don't like.

Yeah buddy now going with DZire.
They stay with me and currently I am having a XUV 500 which they rarely drive, although my father bought it(one reason of that can be that I take it to my office). So I am thinking to get a car only for them which they can use when I am at my office or busy somewhere else(or in an emergency situation when the main car has gone for servicing or repair). DZire is a good option and I am thinking to go with it. Also the new one has got rear AC vents also which will be a huge plus for them.

Whenever I go to the dealership and ask them about their GM they say that he is out of station. Already tried harassing them continuously, some time they don't even pick the phone also. I think changing the dealer is the only option now but then also I am not sure that I will get my car soon or not, because contacting Tata my an email and also on the phone has not worked.
Now I am thinking that if I somehow brought the car then also I think the ownership and service experience will be really bad, and I don't want to gift a car with so many negatives to my parents.

Now I think I will be going forward with DZire only
Yes the new Dzire looks to be a good proposition and you should wait for it before taking a decision. Well I forgot to tell you, Tata had territory manager. Probably CC can give you hs number. Generally they are apt at solving these kinds of issues as dealera are under his supervision. Territory Managers in Bangalore are good from my experience.

To me the tigor should be in a lower price group than the swift dzire.
I hope the onroad price of the new dzire is much more than the respective tigor ir zest for that matter. If not these are again going to get wacked..in sales:-)

Tata has done great job with the Tigor, but I dont think it will have a change in front of the new dzire despite being cheaper. I still expect the Tigor to clock decent sales for the first six months though.
