Good to hear that.
Infact I had reported this issue to the design team of Tiago earlier in July.
To which they had acknowledged it through a regional CRM.
They are proactively working on the feedback. Good to see this.
My CRM told me that initial batches would get the latest updations that occurs on the latest batches.
I will again pass the feedback to them during monsoons, in case muck accumulates again.

Update @ 8500 kms:
My Tiago completed 8500+ kms in 8.5 months.
The car is running fine for now, except for the one incident described below.

Issue Faced:
Some where in the mid January faced the strange issue of varying idling sound from the exhaust. As if engine was losing its breath. This happened when the car was not used for a day and when it was cold.
As soon as i cranked the car, engine would lose its breath.

I have noticed this too, when not driven for two or more days. Close to 11K on the ODO, May 2016 made.

It started during winter. Car was delivered in June. I didn't even talk about this to TASC as it appeared to go away within few seconds.

By the way, it took a solid 2 minutes to warm up and settle down at 850RPM when started after a week's time.

He told me to rev hard so that ECU is cleared of errors.
He told me, if that issue recurrs again, then they can look into it. They also had to say, these errors are logged into the ECU.
It was a one off incident, as the car was not used for around 2 and half days.
@Prabhagar: I had faced the issue of car not able to maintain its idling. As soon as it was cranked, the engine was shutting off.
To this CRM told me to rev hard. Then in the evening when I turned on this varying idling sound started, as similar to your friends case.

Tata Summer Camp Update on 25th March 2017.
9250 kms - Checkup
This was a much required visit to the A.S.S.
I reached the dealership around 9.45 am. And reported my issues to the SA.
By the time they acknowledged it was 11 am.
I had listed few issues to be sorted out.

The mechanical works like clutch freeplay adjustment, Handbrake tightening was done.
Then the car was lying with the electrician for Software update and ECU DTC clearing.
They flashed the software. While the updates were carried out, i was near the vehicle.
Somehow i missed the Harman update.
The AC gas was then recharged and checked for leaks, there was a minor leak that was arrested by re-tightening the inlet valves.
There was a loss of 120 gms of R134a refrigerant out of the standard 600+/- 20 gms limit.
This was done.
And then the real waiting starts to get my car into the wheel alignment bay.
I was standing in the workshop floor, asking my SA to get my car on the alignment bay. The guy took the car to the alignment bay, without even connecting the required equipments, he manually checked camber, caster toe settings.
Within 2-3 mins he reversed my car and said alignment was done.
I was pretty sure that it would not solve my issue.
The SA was adamant that he would verify during TD.
This is the only issue left now.
Will be visiting a Tyre Professional outlet this weekend, to get the 3D alignment and rotation. Car is nearing 94xx kms.
By the time the car was cleaned it was around 5.45 pm.

So i have a new left rear tyre.
Alignment, Balancing, and Tyre rotation (With Sticker weights and Nitrogen) costed me - 1121/-
A few concerns i noted in the last few weeks.

- The wiper sprayer both front and rear are not throwing enough water on windshield.
Noticed this in the recent rains in summer, the throw of water spray was missing.
The motor works but less throw.
- Recently did a trip on highway, the disc brakes kind of gives a jarring feeling.
When on a third gear and approaching a hump. That can be felt by the co-driver too.
- At times on a gradient, the car makes a juddering when clutch is released. Temporarily feels like there is no power on slopes.
- iPhone SE disconnects and connects frequently from Harman System. Not sure if its an issue with recent iOS 10.3 update or Harman update.

10k kms in 10 month is a pretty good usage. I am disappointed to see that tata service centers are still the same haven't changed a bit. Mud in fuel filler area & irregular idling are things no one expects from new car. I see from your posts that you do stay with ur car at service, probably that's the best thing to do. As they have already shown during the oil change (extra .5 ltrs) how careful they are with customers new cars.

Tried adjusting the spray throw nozzle? I raised the throw level this morning and set it to a comfortable level now.

Got the 5 tyre rotation along with the 3D wheel alignment from Hunter.
As one tyre was facing frequent puncture and on one instance found a single tyre had two nails lodged into it.
Since the vehicle was pulling to left thought it to be a right occasion for tyre swap with Stepney.
My Advice: If you love your car tyres get the alignment done outside, at a reputed Wheel alignment center.
So till now the Tiago's tyre have been rotated twice.

Old tyre swapped with Steel wheel
