Re: My Fantastico: Tata Tiago XZ 1.2 (P) Sunburst Orange
Dealership Experience:
I wont call it as a service experience. As it was a monsoon service camp by Tata.
Right after taking the delivery of the car, i kept getting calls for Tiago camp.
I told them about the rear fog lamp, which they told me that they would look into it.
Took an appointment and went to the Prerana Motors at Peenya, Bangalore.
I reached early morning around 9:20 am. The SA mentioned ECU update in the form.
Updated him about the rear fog lamp, that was non-functional.
It was almost 45 minutes, no sign of anyone going near the vehicle.
Finally the CRM came to me introducing himself. I told him that vehicle is unattended and its already 45 minutes.
After this they took the car inside. As soon i entered the service area.
The SA realising car was unattended, realises there is no ECU update.
And tells car has come for monsoon camp.
I told him to fix fog lamp issue, and i would not require any other services.
Reason i visited the service centre. Damn light, please glow.
Going on the ramp on 2nd day of purchase.
Underbelly of Tiago.
Kite 4 is Tiago.
Grease Monkey's.
Summary of this visit: No resolution to the fog lamp issue, nor the ECU was updated. The car was on the ramp for close to 30 minutes.
Post that DIT some technician they call did not arrive for cool 2 hours.
Around 12.30 he declares, Tata has not provided switch for rear fog lamp.
This took 2 hours of his skillful diagnostics.
My plan to leave the dealership early went for a toss.
By then they lined up Tiago for wash at 12.45 pm and it was lunch time.
They took cool 2 and half hours for spraying water, mind you interior cleaning was not done. By this time i had lost my half a day of time to track these guys.
They call you for the camp, but no work was done properly.
At 4.30 pm they just washed the car and no polish was applied to the tyres.
When i asked for the same, a guy came with a diesel on waste cloth. I told him to just throw it away.
SA was no where found to be seen.
It was one of the worst experience with Prerana motors.
Left the dealership at 4:30 pm.
I would rate them 4/10.
Did it end here. No, more to come.... Wash was not proper and to be continued.
