there was sadly no cctv where the car was parked. we think someone did this so that we don't park the car at that spot. it's a public place i don't know why someone thinks it's their place just because it's opposite to their home , it's not like we parked at their home entrance. why would someone do this ? beats me.

anyways bharti axa didn't approve the wiper and bonnet scratches saying a kid scratched it before and they will only approve the claim for just the orvm.
after several calls now they have finally decided to cover all the three things. car has been sitting at the workshop for 5 days without any work.

now the tata adviser is on leave today , work will most probably start tomorrow.

I totally agree to your point Shikhar. Sadist mindset at best I can say. Some people feel by owning the house, they own the damn road too. There are many examples in my locality too. Secondly, this insurance claim process is always a headache. Follow ups and all drama by insurance agencies is absolutely weird and that is why I never took insurance for my Honda CITY and got it repaired on my own when needed. Regarding the ASC, it might be possible that due to the FY closing or the Week Off the delay happened. Nonetheless, Insurance claiming isn't always easy. Update us when you get the car back.

Got the car today. Tass did an excellent work and the paint quality is top notch.

They changed the driver side wiper plus arm , the orvm and painted the bonnet. Total charges were 8000+ rs. Paid 1000rs after the claim.

Third free service bill is attached. Paid 1470rs for engine oil and oil filter.

10 months ownership review of my Tiago Xm

Firstly this is my first message in automotive India. I'm sharing my honest review on Tiago after using it for 10months. These 10 months are not absolutely niggle free. There are some issues which gives headache like gear vibration (complained about it 3 times everytime they said normal and lastly they changed gear wire which reduced 10% of it, and it remains to be same) got ac problem it used to switch off for few minutes and I had to switch it on again to get cool air which was attended in Rd motors and it's under observation now. Except this issues I had spent some beautiful time with it and absolutely fine with it. I had clocked 3200kms on odo and my 3rd service is due on 8th May. Hoping many more kms with Tiago.

This seems to be a paid review, really?? This joker hadn't been coached properly how to drive or deal with an AMT equipped car.

The negatives he relates to is the basis character of an AMT, or he was given a poorly maintained car, a simple ECU flash would have taken care of the slow/no go problem, which shows in the down/Upshift lag time.

I've been driving a Nano AMT since 1.5 years, with non of these issues, even my daughter took just 200/300 meters of driving to understand the mind of the AMT, it's so easy.

Rest other knowledgeable tiago AMT users can corroborate.

The article shows about AMT behavior which is for all AMT cars in the market. Even if issues are there must have been for this particular piece of car .

The front right door and bumper was changed. Not sure if this would cause Airbags to deploy. If airbags had deployed then it would cost a lot to install airbags again.
Not sure if I should go ahead with this deal.

Please stay away from this car if you have not already made a deal. Airbag re-installation by TASS might not be factory finish.

Looks like a paid review for sure or he had a car with some serious issues.
We have completed 7000Kms on our Tiago XZA without a single niggle or issue mentioned in above article. Issue about car not slotting in D or R and remaining in N could be due to non application of brake pedal. Car slots in R or D only if brakes are applied.
Regarding gear box to be confused i find car in correct gear almost 90% of time while in traffic or while on climb or while on slopes.

I shared it here to gauge your opinion on that review. He even went on to say Nexon AMT will be a disaster too. But AMT variants of TML are gaining positive reviews compared to market leader versions.

^^ That is true Tata AMTs are actually better than others in market. Please look at the number of used Celerios on sale in online portals, you would understand.

We have added a Tata Tiago XZA to our garage. There was an ever increasing need to an automatic but dad was firm on not spending too much money on it. Went through a few options and selected the Tiago XZA. The experience has been good so far. I am away from home hence I cannot provide direct views on the car but here are 2 pictures of our car!
