Buying Tiago AMT from Concorde motors, Prabhadevi.
Went for PDI today and the ODO reading was 118Km.
Their stockyard is @Bhiwandi.
Got excuse that there are 3 PDI, lot of testing and the distance between stockyard and dealership is 80KM.
My SA also said that there is a delivery for Hexa as well and its ODO is 140+ and there are other cars that i have delivered which had 120+ ODO reading.
Car is not yet registered on my name, should i accept this car?

Have you done with the PDI? Do check the mfr date of tyres and battery, it should be 2018 make, moreover Tiago sell well so you should be rest assured, but do the PDI.

Congrats on the XZA.

I had visited Deogiri Auto stockyard which too is in Bhiwandi.
At time of PDI my Tiago was just showing 7 km on odo. Though at time of delivery it was around 110 km (acceptable, keeping in mind distance plus 3 visits to RTO).
Do a thorough inspection of the car, but will still suggest if you can manage to get Tiago XZA with odo <50 kms.

Less than 50 wont be possible, the stockyard is 50+ km from delership.
And the SA showed me few cars that were at the dealership for delivery, all had 100+ km on ODO (tiago, hexa).
So, was satisfied with the justification and agreed to take the delivery of the car.

Bought my tiago home today.
Car’ performa invoice says 5.49 as ex showroom cost so this amount or nearabout should reflect on my tax invoice, right?
My tax invoice says 5.13. Shows 28k concession on tax invoice. SA is giving some weird reasons. I am not convinced. My car registration is not completed yet. So i’ll be getting all the receipts once that is done.
I think the dealership is not passing the benefits to me given by TML.
My insurance is free under current scheme.
What do you guys think about this situation??

Hi all,
Took delivery of Tiago XZ petrol last week. 2018 February make. It took around 2 working days to deliver the vehicle after making full payment (7 days from booking). Dealer was Hyson motors Thrissur, Kerala.
The dealer experience was fine and they made all the promises come true on time. Got the insurance free as a part of March month offers.
Coming to the vehicle, this is the first Tata vehicle joining our family after Maruti and Mahindra. I feel the car to be premium with a very good build quality compared to other leading brands.
The driving dynamics of this car is above the segment and it is easy to drive in city. I got an initial fuel efficiency between 14 and 18 kmpl for a 80 km ride as per mid. Happy with our new member. I will update more details shortly.

Got the malfunction lamp on today immediately after starting the car and trying to reverse. There was some slightly weird noise coming in as well. Restarted the car and warning lamp as well as the noise were gone. The onwer's manual says this: "It remains ‘ON’ for any engine related fault that may increase
emission levels of the vehicle beyond the regulatory norms."

Anybody experienced this? It's a 21 month old xz petrol with no issues earlier.

Some random guy vandalised the car [frustration] broke the orvm , scratched the bonnet and don't know what the hell he was trying to do with the wiper.
Lodged an fir and gave the car for insurance claim.

That's plain idiotic behavior. Maybe some drunk thief may have stolen the ORVM and was about to steal the wiper too for his daily doze. If there are any CCTV in the locality/neighbor's home try accessing them to know who did that.
