hello everyone
was busy for 2 months and failed to check the thread updates, Thanks to all the tiago
enthusiasts for keeping thread so active
So 2 months after buying the car i have only clocked only 350kms odd . I am the only person who drives the car and i am yet to receive the DL card ( delayed from past 1 month) . i had no time to take the car out. Would take it out only when i had my friends with me who had the DL
that's the reason for less running.

i should be going to first service tomorrow

1. what all should i check??
2. No oil change i guess
3.any ac component related cleaning??
4.I have driven 350 kms i hope that does not matter?
5. should we go to service just before 2 months or due date or its okay if i delay another 2-3 weeks till it gets a proper running ?

any thing i should be concerned and get it checked??? Thanks fellow enthusiasts :-)

Not actually. The article said that the Tigor dispatches are 3011 in its very first month while tiago sold 3022 units in its first month(2016 apr.)

I put Blaupunkt Sunfilms from Sachins Autoshop Kormangla. Arctic series on the front and normal ones on the other glasses. Cheaper than 3M.

Don't use normal films of any company for the front windshield. Arctic series is especially for windshield so visibility is 100%. Heat rejection is ok ok and would be lesser than your expectation and what they say but better than having no film at all. Price was around 6k for front and sides don't remember exactly but around 2.5K. Normal films heat rejection is not much. Don't believe the numbers company quote (%age of heat rejection).

No use putting sunfilms without front one and it doesn't effect night visibility if you go for the sunfilms which come for the windshield like cr70 or Ar-52. If you go for normal ones like gs-70 or re70 it will effect night visibility.

Yes it has an in-house cannibalization effect for the March- 17 numbers,

Please check the coupons.

I need some clarification. The coupons said, 1st service will be within 3 months (1000 - 1500KMs). But i got a call from my dealer and said, :the service is due within 2 months. There is an error on coupons".

Also the Tiago Manual shows the same thing as below on page no 117.

Service Instructions

1st free service - At 1000-2000 kms. OR 2 months, whichever
is earlier.
2nd free service - At 7000-8000 kms. OR 6 months, whichever
is earlier.
3rd free service - At 14500-15500 kms. OR 12 months, whichever
is earlier.

Please go with the instruction manual. As your SA said, the coupons may have had the wrong prints. I got my first service done at 1021KM (20 days from delivery) and second at 7426KM (~ 6 months from delivery).

First Taigo big crash reported;

Thanks fully none of the passengers were critically injured. Speaks volume of the strenght of the car.

Though it is not crash tested, I now firmly believe that tata cars though heavier, even if they dont give great mileage do save lives when in accident.
