I couldn't remove the parcel tray as well. I think it has locks which i saw for the first time in any car :p it was night time so didn't fiddle with the tray. Since they removed the button i am assuming it turns off automatically.

Please show us pictures of that too. I am glad they got rid of that boot lamp switch in recent batches. Another change that we owners noticed is with the USB/Aux panel, it does not back light in latest batches and has different symbols on them.

Yes the usb and aux aren't backlit. Also i guess we need to pull to take out the tray ?

Drove the car and did a tankful. First tankful gave 10kmpl. I hope it atleast gives 14kmpl.
Also 1st and 2nd gear are too rough. No refinement at all. Jerky ride even after 30 minutes of drive. Car feels totally different in the 3rd gear in a good way. I would rate the petrol engine to be below average. Rating will turn to poor if it doesnt give more than 10-11 kmpl.

Hey there.
Dont worry about the mileage, as i was getting around 7.5 - 8.0 kmpl in the initial days. Now it has improved and giving me 10.4 kmpl in the Bangalore city conditions.

You can pass the feedback of hard gear during first service, again this will smoothen as you clock kms.

Its strange that the 1st service coupon was 1500 kms or 2 months.
Then 2nd Service - 7500 kms or 6 months.
3rd Service - 14500 - 15000 kms or 12 months.

Yes at the 4th tankful i will get to know the mileage. And the gears arent hard , they vibrate a lot as soon as you touch the gear lever and the acceleration isn't smooth in 1st and 2nd gear as it is in the 3rd. First gear is too short and it reaches 3k rpm very fast even though the i pressed the accelerator for a little time( i hope i used the correct jargon)

And like many changes maybe they changed the service interval as well. I am happy with the yearly service schedule.

I feel the mechanicals used in engine is very heavy, you can feel that in initial gears. It's very different than light weight Jap/Korean engines, and takes a while getting used to it.
