Therez a difference between your calculation and cars obviously. Car uses set of algorithms with taking into account fuel consumed data from the sensors and distance travelled data and instantaneous fuel consumption data etc etc etc. BUT ours is simple distance travelled/ fuel filled in. So the difference will be obvious. And have you considered the errors in the fuel station meters. Yet to see a fuel station that has perfect unaltered meters.

Example: Once a fuel station filled 69 ltrs into my car which has the fuel tank capacity of just 65. Thats a difference of atleast 10ltrs, considering the fact that I wasn't running on fumes.

Since i am buying a diesel xz in bangalore, I just came to know that there is 1 or 2 diesel tiago's readily available for delivery in KHT Kundalahalli ,Bangalore. So those who have booked and waiting and planning to buy diesel may use this information

Any Information regarding launch of Tiago AMT.
Considering one, have decided on Tiago Diesel/ Figo Diesel. I had read somewhere that both Petrol / Diesel will be offered with AMT. I hope this launches before September End. Else it will be manual version.

Guys i really need to know if xe variant of tiago comes with power windows?(atleast front)

respond if any one seen this in person? or any pic?

also in case its not present, can we fit power windows outside? is it possible? will that void warranty?
or if i insist with tata will they provide power windows with extra charge?

plz clear my doubt...

dont want to invest 6.7l for xz in tata for topend so preferred 5.2l xe variant with option(airbag option).

Yes Tiago AMT version in both fuel variants is under development and should be release around diwali. Suddenly things have fallen silent on Tata motors end, hope to have a festive season with bouquet of launches from Tata motors. Even I am waiting for thier new launch esp the nexon. Fighting a battle at home between Jazz and nexon.[;)]

If this is true (it looks to be) then the hexa would be postponed to next year as Tata on various occasions declared that there will be 2 new modell launches every year. One of them is already launched (Tiago). So Tata will launch either Kite 5 or Hexa late this year.

Most probably next month we see Media drive event for Hexa and the updated Xenon might be launched along side.

How I think I should have waited a few months to get that AMT[sad]
Would have been a great addition to all the lovely features of my current Tiago.

Although I haven't seen a XE, but as per the Variant details given by Tata, it doesn't look like it has.
If you fit it from outside, I believe it will void the warranty. So the best bet is to get ask your dealer if they offer it as an add-on. Or upgrade to an XM and get some other cool features too [glasses] (If price isn't a constraint).
By the way, what is the waiting you are told by the dealer for the optional variant? Because I haven't seen anyone getting an optional variant yet.

Can someone mention post no. on this thread to check the Berry Red Color ?

I have finalized Tiago as my next car, but before proceeding further, i wanted to finalize on color and variant.

Features are not a priority, but hey i do require AC & Power Steering though. Airbags are also wanted, hence have decided on Option Variants & XZ. I will be buying based on color to variant choice.

Striker Blue & Berry Red are my 2 choices. Have seen Blue in the stockyard & it looks refreshingly different from boring Whites/Silvers.

Dealer has quoted 2 months waiting for Diesel Tiago. If AMT (Diesel) comes soon, i would be tempted to get one.
