Just figured it out, it looks like May month, but I was told either it is June or July. Do you see an issues with buying a May Manufactured vehicle? Personally I am not comfortable but before talking to the dealer, I need your inputs please.
(All the way, I was entering one digit wrong and the online system is not returning the right month. )

the details are few.(VIN details)
the VIN number is a much bigger code which could be decoded from a website too.
you mentioned that the car was well washed for the PDI.
did you notice the plastic on the seats?

Raja & Superbad, Here are 17 digits by the way, I just happen to post the last a few characters. Assuming the fist a few are common for Mahindra. Here is the 17 digits MAC MA1YT2HJUD6E18295.
Yes, it was completely washed and seat plastic covers are there.

Yep according to the VIN it says May 2013.
Check the vehicle thoroughly with the help of the PDI list and if everything is in order and intact then i don't see any problem in taking the delivery.
Rest if you really want to take July/August manufactured car then you can talk to the dealer and tell him to cancel this one and give you another vehicle manufactured in July/August.
The only thing is that in the later case you will have to wait for sometime.

Raja - yes that is the VIN.
Singh890 - I am confused.
Just now, dealer called and said that he doesn't know a way to tell the Date of Manufacturing going by the VIN. I am not convinced with that answer but still would give him benefit of doubt. However he would confirm me tomorrow.
I am told the ground clearance of this vehicle is 160 mm but M & M made the announcement in July.

I am yet to get VIN. There is No wait, BTW.
Looks like the new vehicle comes with JK tyres but given a choice which one to pick between Bridgestone and JK.
is it reasonable to ask for swap of tyres?
