When did you (or your significant other) booked it? 6-8 weeks is really long waiting period, when do you expect it datewise?
Well out here in Hyderabad, the AMT versions have a waiting period of 8 to 10 weeks. and considering the demand for AMT greater than Manual ones, there is bound to be waiting period.

I think TATA limited the Production GenX nano they want to observe demand of nano because they dont want to get production loss in their factory like previous nano

fixing interior theme with exterior color is what perplexed me. Me too interested in beige+cappuccino interior theme but Persian rose is fixed with XM class black+silver :(
Why on earth they have these options for interiors on first place and second, why to fix if you have options available with interior theme?

having different interior options is great but the choice should have been flexible and not limited by exterior color. In other way, the ebony black interior plastic offers the best plastic quality and appearance by hiding minor knicks and knacks compared to lighter coloured plastic.

10 weeks for 3 lac, always undersold, just re-launched vehicle is just ridiculous. Thankfully it's not like this in Pune, Mumbai. It's necessary TML makes sure they don't lose on potential customers because of such waiting periods.

Exactly my point. But AMT boxes are sourced from MM. So supply constraints are there. Only because of Tata people are not ready to wait. Same happened to Zest as well. They must have made an inventory of XTAs at least which is not the case. Can anyone enlighten me how Nano AMT box is better than other AMTs available in the market? I read it somewhere.

I booked it on June 20,2015. The main dealer in South ex Delhi (Concorde) told me 8 weeks and this patparganj one(East Delhi also Concorde) told me 4 - 5 weeks, so I am assuming the higher range.

Are you sure that the plastic quality differs with the colour, i.e to say black is of better quality than cappuccino? We decided on Royal Gold just so that we could get this colour combo, didnt want to go for white which the SA said is readily available at their stockyard (read lying with dust and muck all covered for more than a month). I would rather wait and get royal gold!

I have booked on 13th May (Pre-launch online booking) Now 6 weeks are over and dealer is saying at least 3 more weeks before he delivers. Even though the color is made to order, 8-9 weeks to deliver a pre-launch booked car is nowhere near the much talked about GenX strategy.

BY the way, is there anybody on this forum who has seen a persian rose color nano on road or with dealer? I am curious to see the photos. Not a single photo (except the one on official website) is available on the net.

The base Plastic quality is same, though the dying process used for Ebony plastic parts is much better to feel IMO. Also the black plastic hides lot of knicks and knacks present on plastic so it appears much better. but cappuccino interiors are very refreshing, something different.... it will be worth your wait
