most of the cars will topple if swerved with full steering at one side in moving car. as mentioned topple at 30 km/hr speed, I turned the car on 50km/hr speed without topple, turning on 35km/hr is routine but you need road with and steering balance.
Most of all this is not a spirited driving car, this car is built for some purpose and it is effectively and efficiently serving that .

Hi Phoenix Bird,

My wife and I took a test drive and was impressed with the new AMT version. It ofcourse has its limitations and my wife is only considering it for the convenience of the AMT. The brakes, well are not inspiring and have no real feel, its like pressing on a log, but effective. Have you tested the car on an incline in the hilly areas of Pune? What is the response?

Hi, Nice Username buddy!!! Anyways, I have Nano STD 2009 Model which came without Vacuum Boosted Brakes, compared to that current generation brakes are much better; but I must agree with your 'Pressing on a log' statement. Small wheels and all four drums still make it vehicle with very bad performance in braking section.

I got chance to drive Nano AMT XTA extensively, before and after the launch on different occasions. Without any fuss, new AMT version in hilly areas will require either Sports mode or Manual Mode to properly take on hilly areas around Pune, say Katraj Ghat's few turns, Lonavala Ghat etc. In ECO mode she goes as well but you will keep waiting for nano to move forward for eternity.

But be assured AMT nano won't stall midway of hilly areas and and ruin your fun, that doesn't happen.

The dashboard color combo comes with White, Silver and Gold exterior colors. Personally I liked the Complete Black interiors of Nano XE variant.

The OTR price in Pune was 351042.00 includes Window Visors, Mud Flaps and Floor Mats.

Got it from Concorde Motors, Pune. Yes the next delivery slot will be June End-July start. Chances of getting early delivery especially of XTA variant are very dim for you.

Actually I booked it 1 month back at Pandit Automobiles Law college road Pune but they have not just handled my early request properly. So I do not have any option other than waiting for next slot.

Request to other members in this forum to have clear discussion before booking it.

Thank you buddy! Wife has booked the XTA in Royal Gold colour. We wanted the beige and cappuccino interiors. SA says 4 to 5 weeks which I am sure will go upto 6 to 8 weeks.

Tata have sold around 3000 Nano in one month of which 1000 have been delivered and 2000 in the process of being delivered.

70% of them are AMT versions.

I guess people are getting what they wanted and the Nano has started to get the attention it had to get.
Hope this is not short lived and Nano starts to clock decent figures. Not as insane as Alto does but still much better is expected.

When did you (or your significant other) booked it? 6-8 weeks is really long waiting period, when do you expect it datewise?
