Then what about this?
http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...ta-vx-2011-ownership-issues-4.html#post195912.
His issue isn't solved yet in a 2011 make car.

By this i can say that only some of them here has given the real picture of the scenario.
+100 Viswas. I really got a laugh after reading that thread[lol], because one side these stupid service guys are really messing up the cars further and doing all nonsense to the beautiful cars.

I am worried to post anything more than this here in this thread, because I do not want to make this a battle field at all. Rest of the opinions in that Vista problems thread !! see you there.

why are you worried? You can post everything and anything related with the intent of this thread . I think xover asked you a question out of curosity and you answered him perfectly and yes since the company gave you the car and you have used and serviced the car yourself you have all rights to post and vote your experience.

Hence i am not quite sure if we are disagreeing on anything here?[:)]
Dear Iron Rock,

We are not disagreeing on most and agreeing on many things rather.

Your contribution to "world peace" is always appreciated. You have made some wonderful efforts in various threads to bring in harmony and logic (not as a moderator but as a member).

Viswas,

Its the same thing I have to request you.

Kindly avoid giving harsh judgements and stererotyping.

People who are buying TATA cars are not aliens or a cult or a dark community. They are also ordinary people and part of the homosapien evolution.

Great invention man. That thread was started a year before. It never crossed the fourth page. Very very few, i.e around 3 members only posted their complaints, all other posts by other members.

@Justin - the point here is that the member and thread owner of vista might have faced little, big, serious problems too and is better he comes and gives his testimony here on this thread himself rather then someone taking trouble posting them here.

I have countless examples of happy aria, safari, vista, nano owners and some can post countless examples of unhappy owners but we must not posting them here because they hold no value to this thread .this thread is for owners of Tata cars they are important.since I have never owned one I just can't comment on Tata cars and their a.s.s. Only thing I and others who are not owners can do is ask questions to Tata car owners and take feedback and decide if they are interested to know about Tata motors, their cars and every thing related to it.

Justin, this thread is about Tata motor's car reliability and we have to appreciate the fact in a debate there would be both brickbats and bouquets, i also dont agree to the comment that one has to be Tata owner to be presenting his views on this thread, if we all have threads with such conditions there will be nothing constructive in the forum and we will all end up with isolated debates and mud slinging in groups.

Yes as a reader one is perfectly entitled to take a owner's view more seriously - that should be at a reader's discretion. Lets avoid comments saying since you are not an owner your view isnt correct and you cant post- this is very subjective and incorrect position.

Also i think highlighting niggles of competitor brand to prove one brand reliability (be it anyone) is poor defence. Ill suggest we refrain from it and continue the debate in the spirit of it. A coin always has 2 sides, lets be prepared to hear both sides.

Ironrock

Iam Chevy user can I comment on ford a.s.s and reliability? Who is on better position to comment on xuv you or me ?
The point is Tata cars have a perception of being not reliable problematic or crappy a.s.s so many prospective users inspire of liking the products stay away but what is the real story of Tata cars and their a.s.s who cam tell us better people who own or people who don't own?
To avoid mud slinging away this condition was set that only current and past owners must give testimony. Other wise anybody and come and write that my wifes brothers wifes fathers sister said Tata cars are bad or good.

Raja Its fair to encourage owners to come and give first hand testimony - no problems in that infact a good initiative by you to clear the air, but its unfair to say to non owners to shut up and dont post here. Imagine if this happens in all threads?

You are more than free to comment on any car in an online forum, anybody is free to comment on the xuv too(and personally i respect your views on the xuv mate) and its up the reader's discretion to be taking whichever opinion seriously. One has to use personal judgement here. It gets very subjective from here onwards.

@ Justin - you are happy Tata owner that's great but if some tata car owner gives a bad or unsatisfactory testimony please allow him to do so .this thread is not about glorified Tata users only. Bad and good parts must be written, accepted by grace .
Please don't get in brand wars here please this is a sincere request to you.

sir any non Tata car owner is free to post ,ask questions raise their doubts and Tata car owners in return can answer them and give a right picture.
See for example I come on a xuv owners reliability thread and say xuv is worst product or I can come ask is it TRUE that xuv is a bad product ? There is a difference here and this difference can maintain or destroy the sanity on a thread. And who can answer this question in most authentic way a xuv owner or a alto owner?

Re: Tata Motor’s Cars – The Ultimate Reliability Survey

Raja sir, what you are trying to mean here is owner's personal experience counts a lot more than someone who heard from his mother's sister's brother's uncle's nephew. 100% agree to that!

I also agree with the fact the owner's experience has much high weightage and than someone's hearsay and in this debate you are trying to ensure you get to hear a lot more from owner's to get first hand genuine information - in principal fully agree to sentiment behind the thread. But all said and done non owners will also have an opinion and we can only request them to put genuine information and avoid bashing, we can interrogate such cases but unfortunately we cant censor those opinions.

So i think in principal we both are trying to do the same thing.[:)] Lets continue with the debate , we have gone enough OT.[:)]

same here
not been personal owner of TATA car however uncle has one which gives problems and a.s.s is pathetic
I had already shared my expierence been driven to work in a new car which broke down
TATA has not improved in terms of quality checks and thats a major cause of concern
new cars breaking mid way due to some engineering problem is not taken
either means engineering is not up to the mark or quality tests are not stringent as they should be

I never seen any bad complaint by any tata owner here. But lot of them conclude something without any past ownership. Anyway i'll obey your kind request.

Most of the peoples telling to me that
"tata cars are costly to maintain. So dont go for it"
"Mahindra dont know how to provide comfort, as they are tractor manufacturer"
"Dont buy foreign brands, they will charge more for their parts"
"Dont buy innova, repair cost is very high"
"Dont buy maruti, its purely designed for short Japanese"

do you feel, can i follow all?. No, I need only response from original owners whom experienced it well. I think, that kind of resource you are trying to compose by this thread. I'll follow your guideline as you are the creator of an unique idea.
