Re: Tata Manza Detailed Test Drive Report

I can get one after booking.Though I will need to wait atleast a month since this colour is only available on order.it may be BLACK colour for me.
SE and tata toll free lady gave me wrong info abound availability of the models. You need to talk with general manager (dealer) or e-communicate with TATAS directly. SE usually refrain from saying' direct no' as they are likely to loose they custemer on the spot.

I will advice you against black colored manza, as it has a big spacious cabin inside , it gets more time for cooling (AC) especially while moving car parked under sun. Black color will add the things. Also, exterior metal is thinner than the competition.

It's ironic that nano is available in so many colors but manza in very few.

Re: Tata Manza Detailed Test Drive Report

Celebration- upper half normal beige, lower half black.

/QUOTE]

Small correction here,
Celebration- roof & pillars are beige as like all varients
Dash top is black
Lower half of dash is normal beige
Remaining interior is black again.

Celebration pics are available on ' manza celebration edition coming soon' thread started by 350 z.

The 'celebration badge ' on the car is mentioned under feature list in the brochure. And it's a RS 10/- ~ thing.:lol!:

Its around Rs 6.37 lacs (Ex Showroom, without discounts)
Yes I was.Read somewhere(can't remember where) that now Manza starts at 4.99 for petrol and 5.73 for diesel, hence this curiousity. Are you sure about 6.37 lk for aqua quadrajet.

Re: Tata Manza Detailed Test Drive Review

Update: Tata Motors is replacing the anti-roll bar bush of every Manza on sale, free of cost. Due to the fear of negative publicity, which usually the term “recall” attracts in India, officials have denied to name it so. Therefore, the part will be replaced on the Manzas during the servicing.

"Top 5 Things We Like in Manza!
Price– Most Value For Money car available in segment.
Design - Simple & Sober.
Blue 5 technology & good music system, comes standard.
Space & comfort.
Extreme handling & best gearing ratios."

But I thought that taller gear ratios in Manza is effecting its fuel economy in city, isn't that so?
Then why its gearing ratios are in its positives?
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

TATA Manza facelift to be launched in October
When new Vista (sedan class) was launched last year with a facia looking exactly like a Manza, I was anticipating a Manza face lift happening soon.

Manza is feature rich already. A face lifted Manza with changes in front and rear styling would do wonders. A further improvement on interiors and added features will be like icing on a cake.

Re: Tata Manza Detailed Test Drive Review

I am glad, this car remained immune from infamous niggling and rattling issues of Tata. Rather people accepted it wholeheartedly which even flagship Aria failed to achieve.
I wonder what kind of magic was that.

‘Value for Money’ is the mantra. Not that Manza is niggle free but its VFM aspect far outweighs the rest. I hope this time it’s more of a backlift based on similar design.

Re: Tata Manza Detailed Test Drive Review

Personally my take on Manza design is the rear if looked at isolation looks pretty ok, but then looked in side profile anyone can say that the manufacturer has worked too hard to make a hatchback in to a sedan. Its USP is the terrific value for money!

For me the original Indica in terms of look has always been great and in a way with the times then or even slightly ahead of the curve - its just being a little old in the tooth now really but the hatchback still looks better (if we forget for a minute that its an ageing design, remember the blue vista from the south india meet which stood out in the gang along with Appu's Vista)

But for a flagship sedan Tata need to come up with both a better front and rear, a proportionate, balanced design (take some inspiration from the clean lines of vento and simple design themes).

Tata's design department needs wholesale changes, small botox isnt helping. The Indicaish front will not gel well in a sedan design. Get the designers to work on it Tata!
