So Manza is more comfortable than Laura in terms of back seat space? But is its ride also better than Laura in the back seat? Also is Manza more wider than Laura at the back?

Externally, Laura is wider than Manza. Its all about space management inside and TATA designers do a good job of freeing up spaces inside their cars. Ride quality was almost equal. But I am a little bit biased towards Manza. Further, the comfort is not only from space but overall ergonomics of the seat and seating position and ergonomics and seating position of Manza is very good.

The only other car that has that much space and usability, IMHO, is the Honda city. Still Manza beats it on features.

Re: After One Year - Manza Ownership Experience

Thanks Highway Ranger, For calling the City best in space and usability. I do own one. Have not seen manza from inside (Not sat once), So cant say comparing the two. But, Take my words for it, City is a very comfortable car at the rear!

@Autosafari, Yeahh, Thats some real off roading! Hehe.
Buddy, Your manza is crying for the Alloys and new wider tyres. What about an upsize?
Get even darker tints , If possible, I mean, If you have yaari with cops at your place! Rest it will surely be a stunner!

@ lxi,

You are welcome. I have test driven a lot of Honda Cities before buying Manza. So I can compare. Try out a Manza if you get a chance, just for the heck of it, and let us know your feedback.[:)]

Now there is a caaaaaaaaar that challenges Manza in terms of back seat comfort.Even those people who were die hard fan of Manza quadrajet went ahead and bought Sunny for their parents just for its superlative back seat comfort.

Yes, Surely, But now not in Delhi. Have gone for a trip to NeemRana with my Cousin.

Yes, Sunny, is another best car in terms of Rear space! One can keep a nano in it! (No offence)

Xover, as I mentioned earlier, space alone cannot provide comfort. Its the ergonomic design and positioning that makes the difference.

In Sunny, seats are set low and that reduces the underthigh support. Further it seems that sitting space is compromised slightly to have more knee or leg room.

Otherwise its a good car except for the bland looking interiors.
Space is far better than other cars in the segment.

But when you compare with Manza, sitting comfort scores one point less due to the above two factors.

Very true. Even Force One SUV is supposed to have a lot of space. But it is all unusable and a waste.

Manza's space has very usable and confortable design inside the cabin. The Boot is a different story where the Tata designers have goofed up.

You are welcome to discuss here Xover.

I assume what Highway Ranger meant was the usability of boot space. There are two levers which effectively reduces the boot space if you want to keep items stacked vertically.

May be Highway Ranger can elaborate.

Re: After One Year - Manza Ownership Experience

That is right. The usability.

The boot hinge levers as pointed out by autosafari.

When you close the boot these hinge levers come down and reduce the boot space.

Another thing is the angular protrusion on either side, which you can see in the picture above.

I felt that they could have designed it better, so we can use all the space effectively.

Re: After One Year - Manza Ownership Experience

HR, How did you get in there!

Yes, The Usability of the big boot is reduced by the improper protrusions and the hinges coming down!
