Re: Tata Manza Ownership Experience: After 1.5 Years

Nice picture.

Is it the reflection or the dirt from the rainy drive, that is showing on the side of the car?
Thanks Highway Ranger.

Its dirt due to the drive on a muddy road during rain.

That's a very nice pic[clap] you are putting your car to very good use
Thanks Visran.

It was fun driving which we enjoyed fully and was comfortable too.

For the first time in last 1.5 years, engaged a person for cleaning our Manza. He did the job daily for two weeks and helped keeping car clean in rains and made some scratches within this time. Decided to do daily cleaning again by myself from now on.

Re: Tata Manza Ownership Experience: After 1.5 Years

There is a guy who cleans cars daily in our apartment. I pay him 300/month for the car and 100/month for my bike.

He is also supposed to clean the interior once every week - which does not happen.

And the bike also is not cleaned properly as he knows that I don't use it much. So, whenever I use the bike I have to wipe the seat first.

The car and the house both are really good and confused to judge which one is more appealing[clap]. With your words, It is really a VFM car from TATA !!
I like it very much for space in side[:)]
Thanks Gurrala74.

Manza is VFM without a doubt.
Not only space but overall comfort also is very good.

Cleaning is not proper.
Along with that, causing scratches all over the body is a real issue.

Gave him Microfibre cloth but he prefers to use a terry towel which he uses for other cars also and leave the MF cloth aside.

Re: Tata Manza Ownership Experience: After 1.5 Years

During a recent trip to Saputara, we encountered several big potholes scattered on an otherwise smooth road. There were heavy thud sounds when the wheels pass through those deep potholes - some of them so loud that we will suspect something broke.

Two weeks later while checking air pressure (Nitrogen) in our regular tyre shop, found that pressure is less by 6 points in front left tyre. Asked them to check for any puncture. They found out that wheel rim is slightly bend (about 4 mm on a 2 inch perimeter). Since they were not having suitable fixture for Manza rim, they could not use the machine and just used a hammer - 3 gentle hits and it was back to shape.

WOW Manza look's as big as Laura
Visran,

Infact back seat space and leg space is more in Manza than Laura.

I like all the three pictures. Great angle. [:D]
Very happy to know that you liked those pictures clicked by me. (Its special since you are a very good photographer and expert in angle selection)

Its just by chance than any short or angle selection.

After seeing your comment, I looked at the pictures again - It seems my P&S Camera is doing good and Sony has done a magic and loaded some intelligent software which can recognise our Manza even on casual shots [;)]

Re: Tata Manza Ownership Experience: After 1.5 Years

Fourth service is due in a few days.

1st service - 1000 km - was nothing but a general check up and washing.

Charges - 0

2nd service - 5000 km - was also a general check up including checking nuts and bolts and Electricals and washing.

Charges - 0 + Rs 450 for an oil top up (1/2 ltr synthetic oil)

Top up required after a long highway (1700 km) drive in peak summer.

3rd service - 10000 km - was general check up as in 2nd service + oil change + wheel balancing and wheel alignment.
Charges - Rs 3581

Now 4th service at 20000 km.

Assume that oil change is required and fuel filter to be changed.
Just trying to find out about any other checks/consumables change required.
{Doing all these myself for first time - because of TAI and Manza.
Earlier (for our previous cars) these things were completely left to our drivers}

Autosafari

check if there is any engine de-carbonizing is there at 20000km, where most of our members where saying it was actually not required, I do not remember that thread. Also my car is due for 20000km service may be another 5000km left and people say this service normally cost more, fingers crossed
