May be due to renault kwid launch they delayed the kite.. What comes in my mind or maybe kite and hexa are the two launches for this time and they will launch kite sedan and bolt sport later.

However am really happy with Hexa same as concept but if they can get start stop technology in hexa it would be better

Yes they are considering the FY and not calendar year. Only concern is Kite getting delayed. Kwid is all different segment. I doubt about the refinement of 1.05 L DiCOR motor. Kite will be essentially a complete Tata with not sourcing FIAT powertrain. Launch some model asap.

Regarding Hexa, how can we expect it on NOV 2015. With that ZF transmission and interior it need thorough testing.

maybe kite will launch within 3months by end of October we can expect because kite looks like almost production ready stage Naren Karthikeyan doing final stage testing if TATA Motors will Unvieles Kite production specs model in upcoming GIIAS-2015 show means we can expect launch dates soon lets wait for till Aug 20th 2015 [evil]

TATA Testing 1.05L Dicor motor from longback onwards with different vehicles and for final test results they send one kite diesel car into USA

coming back to HEXA TATA already started testing ARIA Varicor400 with 6-speed Auto transmission for a long time i guess almost 2years onwards So i believe that HEXA doesnt need long time testing HEXA is nothing but a retuned version of ARIA. So HEXA will launch in November or December and delievery will commence in January 2016

TATA Testing 1.05L Dicor motor from longback onwards with different vehicles and for final test results they send one kite diesel car into USA

I echo your thoughts... 1.05L engine is going to be the real Test for Tata and success of this engine will help them price the vehicles competively right with enough margins and confidence fir more RnD.

So we will see kite hatchback and hexa too... That too this year and as per my info from a birdie that Tata was not actually testing storme for automatic version.. It was for Hexa...ie same engine and the increased 400nm engine badging seen on test mules earlier on storme

Tata to Launch Hexa SUV in February, 2016

It was in March this year that Tata Motors showcased its new SUV concept - Hexa. Though the company has not said much about the car yet, it has come to our knowledge that it plans to roll out the Hexa in India in February, 2016.

One look at it and one is immediately reminded of the Aria. However, considering the path Tata is taking after having launched HorizoNext, there will be a few changes.

While the overall shape may remind you of the Aria, there are certain design distinctions, like the bulge on the bonnet, which makes it look a bit muscular, although there aren't any flamboyant lines on the sides of the car. There are also the new projector head-lamps, a new honeycomb mesh front grille, newly designed fog-lamps, and a redesigned airdam.
The Hexa is based on the Aria platform and features a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder, VARICOR diesel unit that is good for 154bhp and 400Nm torque. The car is 4764mm long, 1895mm wide, 1780mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2850mm. While the showcased concept was a 6-seater, expect either 7 or may be 8 seats in the production model.

Changes to the rear include LED tail-lamps, and a new bumper in dual-tone paint scheme amongst others. Tata will launch the car at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo and it will all come down to how well the company prices the car.

First drive report in September Autocar India. The juicy bits are it will come with multi drive modes, has a 400nm torque at 1700rpm -3000rpm range! Will come in 6speed man/auto and for the first time from a Indian manufacturer variable rate dampers WOW!

Boy O Boy..[clap] Fantastic catch man.
So expect a higher price, lower sales. [confused]

I remember ACI testing the original Aria in the same way inside the TML facility way before its launch. The rest is history. Hope this time everything works well.[:)]

O Man I cant believe it the car looks exactly same as Concept one this time TATA did fantastic job [clap] the car looks stunning and premium its clear that car is real Competitor of TOYOTA NEXT GEN INNOVA and Mahindra REXTON and XUV5OO for some variants
