Re: Tata To Rename New Aria as Hexa (Codenamed Eagle)

Fantastic! Hexa looks much more premium than any of its competitors.
Though this looks premium than XUV, atleast for initial 3-4 months Tata should have something like introductory pricing and match XUV pricing.
Also I hope they bring in 4*2 version right from start unlike ARIA which was launched with just 4*4 and 4*2 came much later by then the damage was already done.

Hope Hexa marks a well deserved turnaround for fortunes of Tata Motors! [thumbsup]

Guys..

This is a dream project of TATA CEO.
It will be price competitively.
may create a war in the market.

Just wait and watch.

If TATA will not do the blunder what they done with Aria, this should be a game changer for TATA.

I feel TATA should not launch too many models. I also veto your opinion that there should be three variants like you said. Just one model of each variant you have mentioned here. Then there will be only 3 models and will not create a confusion and also make it easy for showrooms in stocking as there will not be too many variants of the car.

I agree with you tata should not launch too many variants in trim levels but they should launch Competitive price with selected entry level and high end variants with selected engine power options like they did in zest XE and Zest XM

below iam short listing some variants

TATA HEXA XM 2.2L Varicor320

TATA HEXA XMS 2.2L Varicor320

TATA HEXA XT 2.2L Varicor400 optional 4x4 as order

TATA HEXA XMA 2.2L Varicor without 4X4

TATA HEXA XTA 2.2L Varicor400 with 4X4

So total 3variants in MT and 2Variants AT.

Note: XMA and XTA are 6Speed automatic GB.

Re: Tata To Rename New Aria as Hexa (Codenamed Eagle)

If Tata price it high then people will call it over optimistic price.
If Tata price it competitively then people will reject it saying that quality may be low.

I don't understand how the teams at Tata are planning to launch the vehicle and at what price. And I won't be surprised low sales numbers for this one too.

Still, I guess for the vehicle this good; 15-20 lac ex showroom should be there. 15 for the base 4*2 and 20-22lac for the fully loaded version with a list of features that can be longer than the list of demands of customers.

@TSI Vipul as a matter of fact whatever TATA does has never been appreciated by majority of the people however they are quite reliable and sturdy vehicles. and yes the trend has been changing in the recent times with a few people turning up to own private TATA Cars. Thanks to improved customer experience By TATA, i know they are still a League behind when it comes to absolute customer experience nevertheless they have started working in that Direction which is a good sign.

Re: Tata To Rename New Aria as Hexa (Codenamed Eagle)

To put it simple, what TML lacks today is proper marketing campaigns. If the company themselves doesn't propagate the message then who else will do that? No doubt that TML is coming up with very good products like Zest, Bolt and much more in the making. Give a good support to dealerships and sales guys by putting in an attractive marketing campaign around it and keep pushing the products. For TML it would or should be the push strategy that should be adopted.

Yes Hexa launch is nearby, i was just wondering how successfully Mahindra did the ad campaigns, the teasers during the XUV launch. WoW it was simply mind blowing. People were glued to see the cheetah coming out of the cage and rest is history. I have always had a feeling that TML's ad campaigns lacked the punch and this should not be the case going forward. Since Mayenk has took over we expect better product campaigns from TML and i am sure they are in the right direction to do so.

Re: Tata To Rename New Aria as Hexa (Codenamed Eagle)

By the time tata launches market would have been saturated/moved and ppl will start make analysis of why it not selling even though it a great product made in india, strong secure chasis and body and many fan followers blame it on ASS and marketing then the cycle repeats for the next product.
