New GST price is very tempting. I was keen on XTA. But decided against it for not having ESP and roll over mitigation etc. Not sure why TATA missed those important features. Hopefully some wise men at tata fixes this problem. Regarding hill hold it says 'in-built' for automatic. Did anyone tested hill-hold function in XTA version?

Long time man, how are you? Life has been very hectic for the past some years and I rarely get time to go online & be an active part of forums.
Yes, the Hexa does feel like an upgrade from the XUV, albeit a small one. That is mainly due to the richer interiors with better NVH and a much more sorted ride. It does lack the punch of the mHawk 140 though.
Returning back to India - well, that is not planned in the near future. Dubai has better cars! You should see another ownership review soon!

Hexa and XUV still survived without much impact last month but Innova fell very badly from Approx 5.5K+ units in MAY-17 month to a mere 1000 odd units. This shows no matter the numbers, atleast HEXA did not create inventory to a great extent among TATA dealers. Slow but Steady, HEXA!

Either way, they ended up incurring a terrible fall in their business. Lower volume SUV like Hexa even in GST scene did not give much losses to TATA in that respect.

Here XUV5OO already a hit product in that segment & still shines. Good to see that. Want another Indian company product HEXA to do such miracles.
Still not more than 1000? even after 6 months? Why TML why? You have superb SUV/MPV with you after almost 10 years (no offence to Safari owners, its a good product but should have been updated properly by TML) and you don't have proper production facility in place. No need to add dealer issues & delivery problems which I read few pages back.

And lack of ESP is easily noticable above 80 kmph.
Reason might be stupid Cost Cutting!
Don't know why TATA want to ruin themselves and break people's trust.
Many had cancelled due to waiting period.
Hexa sales for June 2017 @ 727 units , dealer shipping for the month may be 550 units !
Though it's reassuring to have ESP ,the reason might not be just cost cutting, The AT box is an adopted french unit & they might haven't completed the adaptation of the unit with the Tata's engine management system! Guess the missing features would be filled before Auto Expo 2018 including bigger head unit & sunroof !
For mahndra many things were easy as aisin AT unit, features like sunroof,power seats were straight lift from ssangyong .

The sales you have put is May 17 figures. Dealer dispatch is only what is accounted. See Crysta's numbers.
Yup! you are right ! it was published as June sales figures in this website and it seems like a goofed up figure with May 2017 numbers ! sorry for the wrong information.

Dear TAIgers, let me take this opportunity to express my sincere apologies to you all for such a long delay in the Hexa road test review, it's just that the professional commitments and then the fresh admission in PGDM have got me into a soup. Anyhow, now things are getting back on the track and the review will be on very soon (Before Sunday itself, I am nearly done and some minor additions and changes are being carried out.
