727 for the month of May 17?? What a ridiculous sales numbers of product like Hexa!!!
Its going down every month. I hope TML is working on this biggest matter.

TATA Hexa continues to prove its a dud, considering the development cost and comparing with its peers.

Sales is Dud. Yes look like its dud but as our TAI friend told me last time its because of TML's slow production & time consuming sales strategy. I read some where in thread that Hexa got more than 8000 bookings but TML is taking too much time to give delivery. Lets hope TML won't be wasting this good product like ARIA. BTW Hexa is facelift version of ARIA so development cost will be less.

Actually it had touched 10K booking but thanks to delay, many have cancelled their booking and now it should be around 6K units.

I think it's a kind of good thing and this will put Tata on toes and they will keep working hard to achieve success and will keep focusing on the broken thread of ASS and brand building.

And am sure this will force Tata to bring in Nexon with competitive price and good engine options along with focus on customer satisfaction and good quality.

However the numbers are effect of GST as dealers are not willing to place order and trying to push sales for existing inventory to avoid hassles of 60% GST rule on existing inventory.

The figure for Hexa seems to be inaccurate.These are the figure taken from autopunditz wherein Tata stands at 6th position whereas SIAM states the figure at 12000+ and at 4th position in terms of overall sales.

I am not sure from what are you refering to, but checking from what Tata motors have reported to SIAM, the numbers reported here are correct. However, if you look at production for the month in contention they have manufactured 12605 vehicles including 1165 Hexa/arias. But this is production numbers and not sales numbers.

Yes saw the same figure in ET Auto website as well. But if you see Tata motors website or the number presented to BSE stock exchange, it corresponds to the numbers presented by Autopunditz. So I guess we need to rely on the Tatamotors official website rather than ibtimes or ET Auto.

The AutoCar Pro comes up with a sales analysis for May 2017, and it shows two sets of figures for May 2017 - one as domestic sales May 2017 and other as OEM sales May 2017,thus clearing the confusions to certain extend .

Manufacturers like Honda ,Toyota,Hyundai have same figures and no changes,wonder why !
While Maruti,Tata Motors & Mahindra shows changes in the figures.

Hi all,
I just want to add my experience about our new family member - Tata Hexa XTA 4x2

1) The Harman Infotainment system in XTA is compatible with playing “Gaana” music on the vehicle, even you can play, pause and see the playing music on the infotainment screen, just like playing that from the USB.

2) I have experienced my first niggle with Tata Hexa in the very first week itself. The HVAC system was the culprit. The AC suddenly stops blowing, about 5-10 min after starting the journey. You can hear the blowing sound inside the dashboard, but no air is coming out while AC is on. I have taken it up with the Regional Manager (South India) of Tata Passenger Vehicles department, it was at night 10:00pm & he assured me that some COO will contact me the next day. The very next day the COO contacted me and assured me in rectifying it. Since I was away on a travel, Im planning to give my vehicle for inspection on Monday.

When I enquired about this to one of my friend in Tata Motors, he told me that Tata has identified the problem with the AC pipe or bent or something and this was found only on the manual variant. They are replacing the pipe free of cost at the first service (5k) for all vehicles. But the regional manager was telling me that this was the first complaint regarding AC in Hexa, although he admitted that similar issues are faced by other models.
My friend assured me that it has got nothing to worry as something is getting clogged because of the pipe and once it gets replaced I will be fine. It takes less than an hour or so for them to replace it. Anyways I am keeping my fingers crossed.

This is a known issue in Hexa and many owners faced it , though I am not aware of solution and cause of it so can't confirm.

I guess TML's Marketing team is working very hard. Few days back I commented on a video on TML Hexa by a non media person where I commented that TML Hexa is good product & better than Innova Crysta in price point & features but TML dealers are quite bad & because of that Hexa is not selling like hot cakes.

2 days later got reply on that comment from TML official account where they asked for dealer name & city where I faced issue. They have noted the feedback. I guess this is a huge step in the name of customer service.
TML is checking Hexa related video & user comments on that video to build trust. A nice move by TML.
