Tata Harrier platform tested for 22 lakh kms – Watch it perform the 4 Poster test

With the launch of Tata Harrier SUV getting closer, the company has gotten active on social media sharing teasers and bit more information with each passing day. Yesterday the company showed how capable the Harrier was through the torture test. Today, the company shows us how the Harrier performs in the 4 Poster test.

4-Poster test in automotive speak is a very important test. It simulates the car being driven on bad surface for prolonged period. This helps the manufacturer tune the car’s suspension and its durability. It also helps the manufacturer tune the car’s suspension for the best possible setting depending on the road condition.

TATA has now mastered the art of promotion through social media.

Just long enough to keep people from skipping. Next TATA should give people a ride(not drive) experience in the prototype being tested.


Also, looking at the video, the prototype on test is a front wheel drive. And I dont see a shaft going to the rear. Also, the rear suspension is not independent. Its like in Nexon and other hatch backs (twist beam??)

30K seems a reasonable amount. For Harrier, TML dealerships will also be revamped. So how many of our TAI-gers are going forward for it?[:D] My concern is, will it be offered in Pure Black color or not. A Black Harrier would be a great sight for sure.

SCOOP! Tata Harrier on-road prices to range from Rs 16-21 lakh


As already reported, Tata Motors will open bookings for the Harrier on October 15, 2018. In breaking news, we’ve just got our hands on the hotly awaited SUV’s indicative pricing information too. The Harrier will carry an on-road price in the range of Rs 16-21 lakh, according to a dealer communication document. Adjusting for insurance, registration and other charges, this gives the Tata Harrier an estimated ex-showroom price range of Rs 13.5-18 lakh.
