Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

Nice pictures Dhaya. Somehow a 4X4 always shows its beauty when dirty.

The car looks simply stunning buddy, especially the first pic. With some photoshop effects, it can be a wallpaper material.

The car looks amazing in white, well balanced & proportioned.

Akash Sarathi means "Charioteer" in Sanskrit, Kannada

Sorry slightly OT.
Same as Partha-Sarathi means Charioteer of Arjuna i.e.Krishna

Mukesh and my brother's name is Parthasarathi! We used Sarathi as our firms name. Well let's not go further OT.

Good news , Aria is scheduled to make its first long trip on Monday! Whether i will be going or not is still not confirmed. If i do go then time to test the cruising ability and full highway mileage of Aria!

@ XOVER Well honestly we have not thought our replacement car yet , that is still atleast a good 4 years away , let's wait!

Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

Why not design something in house itself? We Indians are not bad in designing. Why do we need help from outside?

Indians MAY go a bit overboard when designing cars (XUV5OO), but that can be curbed by the manufacturer.

Re: Tata Aria Pride Ownership Review – TAI’s First!

An MUV can't be an off-roader right? Right , that is exactly what happened! This happened yesterday at our construction site and i was not with dad at that time. Due to rains our construction site roads were in a bad slushy and clayey state. Dad thought Aria might go through in 4X2 mode itself but the car got stuck , dad shifted to 4X4 , Aria pulled for some more distance but then again got stuck after some distance. As it happened in our site dad called our workers to clear the path and then Aria came out easily. But i have seen even Fortuner's getting stuck in slush so i think the Aria can be excused!

And BTW Aria is going for its first long trip tomorrow itself , around 2000KM trip and i will be driving mostly! Time to test the full highway FE ,cruising ability and highway mannerisms of Aria!
