Hey Convex and pioneer systems comes with touch screen,GPS,Bluetooth,All Format Vedio&audio can be played memorycard reader USB they give fro 7.5K in convex and starts from 16k in pioneer so don't waste time fixing again the OE this is my opinon. In my manza USB was not proper they told they'll service it and give and still having the same problem and i'm gonna change to CONVEX by the month of march...
Thanks for the advice. but in my case iam pretty much happy with the existing OEM Stereo system. When i was on my europe trip last year for 35 days than due to some problem, it stops catching the FM stations. Otherwise it is working fine. SO the new one has come and now will be installed in the coming week. My problem is also with 4x4 system and reverse parking sensor button which is also on the same console.

Oh! if yout feel comfortable then continue with the same and have you changed or upsized your tyre?
Tyres are same 235/70/16, but by the induction of alloys they feel a size up in appereance.

@Tornado: but through warranty you had changed your tyre to Bridgestone right ? Do you feel any difference in vehicle characteristics or behavior ?

Did you have an option to change ur tyre size to 255 or 265?

No i have not changed my tyres at all, they are OEM fitted tyres.

I have changed the alloys from steel rims. and i didnt feel any sort of difference in terms of ride quality or handling. May be a bit of better frip due to a bit of extra width of the alloys.

But yes they now do give a bit of wobble at speed over 90 kmph. So i mught go for a change in alloys from Neo Wheels to Tata Motors original Alloys of Storme.

Don't waste the money dude Just do wheel balancing insist them to use aluminium alloy sticker as weights and check weather there is any bulging in any part of the tyre

Ha ha ha
thanks for the advice, but all those things were already done many a times and allys were also changed once from one design to another (in warranty). But i guess these alloys were designed by keeping old 2.2 safari in mind and the best way forward is to go for Storme alloys by asking my neo alloys money back from the delaer as they are not custom fit to my Aria.

autozone people have agreed to this also and i just have to pay the difference which is around 2K per piece.

Re: Tata Aria Pleasure 4X4 a.k.a. The Chronicals of Saphira

Hi All
Slight update on the vehicle

ODO Reading 27300 Kms

Another Visit to TASS for :

1.) Change of Driver Seat: Last saturday i have gone to TASS for replacement of Driver Seat as it was giving a slight squeak from last MArch April Onwards (after installation of Seat Covers). So a new seat was procured under Warranty and replaced. so were the seat covers. As i aksed Relaince Autozone Gurgaon person to accompny me on saturday and replace the cover before fitting of a new seat. He did the work in an hour and the new seat is as good as the previous one, MINUS the Squeak. Iam Happy now.

2.) Stereo Replacement: Asi already mentioned that FM was not working in my 2 DIN ICE from my last years Europe trip when the car was at home for more than 5 weeks. SO now the new Stereo has come (made in Portugal by DELPHI), it was a just five mintues work but due to some problems in Software updation after fitting of new stereo the work was not completed and as i was getting late so i left that work for next week when the car will go again for 30K service.

3.) Alloy Wheel Wobbling Issue (Relaince Autozone): After my visit to TASS i have taken my vehicle to Autozone and asked them to chek the alloys again and do a waxing of the dragon. Another round of balancing was done in the wheels but the result is same as it was. So now things are clear that i have t go for genuine Stormes Alloy set soon. same has been conveyed to Autozone people and they have agreed to this arrangement, lets see how soon i'll get those new sets of alloys. I know they will not look as cool as present alloys but i need peace of mind and high speed wobble free ride.

SOme of the pics for you people in a foggy morning in Gurgaon:

@ tornado78

if the wobbling is still present after balancing (are the weights normal?) and alignment (got alignment done?), then the problem is something else.

Check steering linkages and suspension linkages like anti roll bar ball ends, tie rod ball ends, steering rod ball ends. Also wheel bearings and suspension bushes.

Everything is in order, its just the alloys which are not 100% compatible to Aria or even to storme.
