if that is RPM at idle , i think it is on the higher side.

better get it corrected.
No its not at the idle, its on the move I have clicked the pic. RPM Idle speed is 800RPM. but thanks for the observation.

Hi All

Minor update on Dragon
It has covered 33333 Kms today.
Overall experience is wonderful till date. Pretty much happy with the car and TASS.
Here is the pic of the beast.

Kindly Suggest your views, my inclination towards 10 spoke design
Can you please confirm after replace the alloy with steel rim, the steering vibration went away?

Bcos that kind of vibration was there even before install alloys. but very little bit at start, and increase day by day. Also left pulling is verymuch common in old aria batch. My front tires went flat at 6500kms. So alloys will kill the tyres in 3000kms?

Please note my alloys are tata safari 10spoke alloys. Installed by dealer after get offer confirmation from tata motors.

I think the issue is there at somewhere else. Bcos the back wheels are good as new. They interchange the front tyres to back at 11K kms, now it crossed 13500 kms. but there is no sign of abnormal wear. but now my car is jumping a bit (look a like uneven wear of tyre)

Hi All,

Minor Update on Vehicle

The First Puncture:
Finally over 33 K Rear Right Side tyre faced a Puncture by a good 2 Inches long Silver colour screw on last Friday. Thankfully, I was suppose to fill the diesel and than I notice that air was almost half than its usual, so filled up the air from the service station and waited for some time and drove to my office and than also waited there for 30 minutes and again I found that tyre was loosing the pressure so I drive down to a near by Puncture repair shop and in just ten minutes tyre was removed and puncture was diagnosed and repaired with a cost of Just Rs 50/-.
The vehicle has crossed 33k mark and performing its duties very well, with just one niggle again cropping up and that is slight rattle in driver door, I guess they didn't attended this complaint in last service. so I might go for a detailing session (pending one) in the coming weekend at Gurgaon ABS workshop (3M interior and exterior + Underbody rust protection coat). AT that visit i'll attend these issues of Minor door rattle (infact window glass rattle) and interior cleaning.

Did you install alloys on your vehicle?
I am one more happy customer with ARIA and TASS and looking for some alloys for my ride.

I have a PURE 4*2 and i am from Bangalore with no mods as of now.
Mods planned: Leather seat covers, 3D Mats and alloys

I am trying for 3D Mats in Bangalore but no luck. Dealers arel yet to make the mould ready seems to be.

Yes I have gone for aftermarket alloys and in initial phase they have given slight wobbling at speeds higher than 80 kmph but it has subside a bit. But my suggestion to you is to go for 10 spoke Safari Dicor Alloys or Storme 5 spoke alloys, so that your warranty may remain intact.
I might also shift to 10 spoke Dicor alloys if i'll get my refund from Reliance Autozone and Neo Wheels.

Go for regular mats and put a plastic or rubber mats over it and your car should be fine. no need to go for 3d mats as they are expensive and not available in market.

Leather seat covers are good, but don't you sweat a lot in that. Yes we do sweat a lot in Leather or Art leather seat covers. I have installed Autoform Art Leather Seat covers which costed me around 11000, they have a very nice fitting. But I would suggest you to go for a semi Art leather one which has fabric on portions of back and butt. This will give pleasure of both the worlds.

Next you can go for speakers upgrade to nice components and door damping for better sound

No, they aren't.They just think that custemers are as stupid as them!
And I think they are lazy TASS men rather than TATA men.

Hi All

Another Minor Update:

Aria has crossed 37000 kms mark and going strong and well.

Issues: Rear door one gas strut was screeching in extreme summer time so it has been replaced and driver door window pane was a bit loose so it was tighten up.

Rest is fine with the car, and it has no niggles as posted by many other (fingers crosses).

Did many out station trips:
Delhi Ajmer Delhi- Twice
Delhi Jaipur Delhi Once
Delhi Dalhousie khajjiar Delhi Once
Delhi Narkanda Delhi Once (in Snow)
Delhi Agra Delhi once (used expressway and touched 170 kmph with ease)

The vehicle was used to move the entire house and all the space was used to bring the stuff. It served me well. and still going fine.

Note1: I have removed the front bull bar due to one reason that it did reduce the ground clearance by 2 inches.

Note: Next MOD planned is to upgrade the front door speaker with component ones and also go for sound damping in all five doors and hood.

RD diesel tuning box would be on radar. But it has to wait a bit as iam looking forward for Aria Refresh with increased power figures and we might received the upgraded ECM Patch. Otherwise RD box zindabad (dual channel).

If your going to put an Tuning box or increase the power by some other means its your wish but after upgrading its must you usse 100% synthetic Oil and should not and never use natural Oil or If you use natural Oil you should change 7500 once and not 15000 once as the radiator and intercoolers are made to withstand 140 PS and 320 NM only. Hope you can understand.

Whats natural oil got to do with radiator and intercooler?. Now the cycle has changed my friend. Now the engine oil, crude or synthetic, can be changed every 15000kms. But syntheic is preferable.
