Aria looks elegant in all respect, adding a bull bar will make it look like a muv or worse a Taxi.

with jaydeo, bull bar will convert the european look in to a chariot type look.

, but my prime need is to protect vehicle from these stupid bikewallas

Then what about protection offered by the airbag?

Another minor update on the Dragon's drinking habit:

Today in the morning i have acheived the best FE figure on my Home to Office route i.e. ROhini to Gurgaon in peak time morning. The FE was 16.8 over a stretch of 45 kms.



Another thoughts on Mods planned. What about a horizontal bar on roof to fix extra fog lights. Instead of fixing a front bull bar and going for lights on that i can go for roof mounted bar to fix lights onit

Yes, good thought, that will keep errant upcoming two/three/four wheelers at bay if used in during foggy/nonfoggy nights .

A very Happy New Year to all of you,

Slight Update on Vehicle:

1.) Finally, TASS People has been able to diagnose the problem in Stereo. They have got another Aria (Pleasure variant) and promptly SA called me up to show the vehicle in their showroom to check whether the stereo has a problem or the stereo. So finally it turns out to be stereo problem. Replacement has been ordered and will take some time to come from Pune. The cost fo stereo panel is Rs 21800/- only.

2.) As discussed with you all i have installed Front Guard with 2 extra Hella 700FF lights and also a rear guard.

Total Dent in the wallet Rs 18000/- with all the fittings and fabrication job.

Lights are awesome and now i can run my vehicle with 8 illuminated lights. Will post pics soon.

@tornado: u should have added atleast 2 Megasonic roots horns to the Bumper gaurd,it would have been more mejestic.

My doubt is when ur climbing a ver steep slop or coming out from a very high platform u may tend to scrach ur bumper gaurd right how do you manage that?

Thanks for the suggestions, will look into that aspect soon.

I havent tried that kind of incline or decline, but i guess there will be hardly any difference or may be 0.5 inch or so. will update you if i'll face that situation.

But already twice these guards saved my aria from scratches one at front side and another at rear.

Hi Friends

Another minor update of the vehicle:

1.) Vehicle has crossed 25K Mark, i clicked a pic yesterday at 25555 kms. Will share soon.
2.) Replacement Seat has come, Stereo which stopped playing FM also come.
3.) Vehicle is not offering any trouble. Iam happy.

Note: Another nifty feature i found during winter days is, If you turn the knob of wind flow to "Windscreen" mode and than turn on the blower than AC will automatically turn on to defog the windcsreen/glasses. This vehicle is just keep on amazing me with its small but useful features.

Iam also impressed with the provision of Sun Blind extensioners, they are so useful especially when the sun is coming into eyes from the side window.

If possible take cash instead of stero and U get good one is the market like Convex and others ceck Karthickramu of chennai he has changed the sterio to 2-Din pioneer....

I did ask them to provide the other option mentioned by you or even provide the top model stereo system with colour screen. but they said a lot of wiring is required to install the entire system and also many sensors, will also be a part of that. The cost of this stereo is around 22K whereas top model stereo cost around 40K or so. Mine one is made in Portugal. lets see the new one.

Superb fuel economy considering Delhi's traffic conditions, Do you test fuel efficiency figures by OBD or by tank-full-to-tank-full method? With almost similar engine configuration and similar traffic conditions i manages only 14-15 KMPL.

Hey Convex and pioneer systems comes with touch screen,GPS,Bluetooth,All Format Vedio&audio can be played memorycard reader USB they give fro 7.5K in convex and starts from 16k in pioneer so don't waste time fixing again the OE this is my opinon.In my manza USB was not proper they told they'll service it and give and still having the same problem and i'm gonna change to CONVEX by the month of march...
