@ tronado78 nice to see that you and your aria both are doing fine. Why is it that the squeaking from the front seat is not solved yet ? Did they check your seat and find the root cause of this problem ?

Hi
They have chekced out all the possibilites with the seat. But not able to kick out the sound for forever.

May be next time i'll ask them to replace the entire seat assembly and seat also.

The sound comes at certain angles and at certain settings of the height adjuments.

Any clue on FM not working if the vehicle is not used for over a month or so?

Yes it was checked
and they also tried to get the signal with an electrical wire so that the earting sound of (krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiii) can be heard but all in vein. Hence the conclsion come that Stereo need replcement as it is not getting the signals even from the electric wire leave aside its original wire.

Hi Guys,

Just a minor update:
Kms: 17500
FE: around 13KMPL on delhi gurgaon stretch

Aria was taken again to service centre due to the stereo problem, this time they have send the driver to pick it and drop the vehicle. They were on phone with technical team in HO for rectification of the problem but unable to correct it and now replacement has been ordered and soon they will provide me the NEW Stereo Unit....

Rest is fine and now i have again fallen in love with my car after seeing the storme's interiors.
Aria Intereios are time less, they are simple yet functional and now i can say (european) in style and in fitment too.

Note: Now as i have my New DSLR with me Canon 550d so ek detailed photoshoot toh banta hai boss, lets see may be on dusshera morning will do that detailed shoot of the vehicle and will share those with you guys.

hi guys

another update.

got my arias alloys replaced with new design alloys.

low beam shifted to HID philips 6000 k.
high beam shifted to philips crystal vision 4300 k.
with parking bulbs shifted to samephilips 4300k bulbs.

will post pics tommorow morning...

As promised another update
1.) Alloys change under warranty.
2.) Low beam lights change by HID Philips 6000K
3.) High Beam and Parking bulbs are also changed by Philips Crystal Vision 4300K

You can check the old one also, these are under replacement (warranty) from Neo Wheels as old one were facing some wobbling at speeds above 80-90 kmph. So Autozone were unable to procure the same model hence i have been given the oppertunity to choose from the new design and i found these ones to be very good and macho.
I paid 18K for a set of 4 alloys with exchange of old stell rims.

I have not checked there performance over the speed of 90 for wobbling and other side effects but will do it soon.

Not sure whether they will also act like the old one. if they do wobble than i have to ask for the refund of money and than will buy the original TATA Alloys of new safari.

Hi All,

Just want to add only pic clicked today in morning in Parking Lot with HID.

Although, its look that it will blind the oncoming traffic but its not as it is fit in Low Beam Projector of Aria.

Nice to see your Aria with the HID lamps.

I have also booked an Aria (pride - Night Shade black) and am interested in fitting a HID lamp.

How much did the HID cost you? Did that involve any alteration or cutting of wires? Also want to be sure that changing the lamps to HID will not affect the warranty in any way.

Hope to hear from you soon.

congrats for ur booking.
when is the vehicle expected.

HID is a good tool to improve your headlights but you should buy the kelvin 4300k in hid. as over this the light will have blue tint. mine is 6000k and its good in normal driving but im not sure about the visibility in fog or smog.

instead i will be installing a front bull guard and will install two hella 550ff or 700ff lights on the bull bar. these lights come with blue and yellow extra covers which can be used in fog or no fog conditions. they are cheaper than HID and cost around 4-6 thousands. whereas HID will cost you around 8K.

no for fitting of lights they use couplers which dont involve cutting of wires. so no issue of warranty. infact HID consumes less power 35w as compare to 55w hence less pressure on battery.

but i would suggest you to go for extra hella lights in place of HID.

Tornado, Congrats for the new Alloys. Somehow the new wheels are looking better than the earlier ones. I am a fan of black wheels, but this set is looking pretty decent.

My vehicle is expected any time. It was booked one month ago- but the delivery has been delayed. Thanks for the update on HID.

Would fitting a bull bar be a good idea? I think the airbag sensors are just behind the front bumper and the bull bar could be an impediment to sense the crash(if at all there is one) and may affect the Air bag deployment. Any thoughts?

exactly my thoughts. somehow the silver alloys look good on white cars and black ones on darker coloured cars.
