Thanks a lot to all, yes i was also amazed by the FE figure.
It was a late night drive with AC on and low to moderate traffic for over 38 kms distance.
Otherwise, FE is all depends
How one Rev the engine
Volume of Traffic
Speed at which vehicle is driven
Passenger load in vehicle
Traffic jams
If one control all these things than the FE is very good to average (i.e. 13 to 16 kmpl). but in adverse conditions it can drop down to 11 or in favorable conditions it can go up as high as 18-19 kmpl.
Note: Reliance Autozone people have again done balancing of alloys but in vain as it still has bubbling issues so may be coming saturday or sunday i might get them changed with new alloys (replacement under warranty).

Make sure the showroom guy's don't use it as a test drive machine, make a note of the km's driven.

Which Variant you are taking... and offers given by Dealer
I would suggest you to wait till 2-3 months or 4-5k kilometers before shifting to alloys. The reason is, if any problem arise in tyres, suspension and other related things shall be rectified with the given rims and service centre people have no excuse to run away from that. So wait for some time and then shift to Alloys. This for non tata alloys. Means if you want to install Safari alloys than from day one you can or if u want to upzise to 17" rims and tyres of original higher variants aria than also its ok. But for after market alloys (even the genuine one) wait for some time.
Price: they costed me 18000 for a set of 4 in exchange of my stock iron rims. They have given me total discount of Rs 600 plus Rs 500 for the cost of old rim hence per rim is around Rs1100 + off. The MRP is around 5600 Rs and they have costed me around Rs 4500 per piece with fitting, nitrogen and balalncing etc.

Upsizing to 17" will not hamper to ur KMS calculations as you also have to change the tyres. They'll do some software changes in Speedometere as per the new trye and rim specifications.
Thats a good deal u have got. But try to buy/include extended warranty and AMC in this deal also.
