I think according to Vibhor, there is no such possibility of changes, so it is not a big problem.
Hey Friends from MH/KL/KA/AP/TN can we finalise the venue as Malnad or any other place do you suggest, please post your opinions please.
Bangalore & Chennai Friends, how about Hogenakkal waterfalls ?? Do any body has idea about this place.

Hogenikal was not a good place i think in my personal view
Its a place were robbery of costly items takes place
And there is only one fall and no other place if you avoid family it would be good though
Very untidy place which i hate.

i agree to that. Hogenikal can be organised as one day trip. And nothing much to see. If you are good fish lover you can have fish fry just taken from the river. I think that is best part there and MASSAGE. We can plan something time Mr Gurrala.

I just did a small research and found the following details. Even if we have 10% of this JANTHA, am sure our Inter Region meet will be great great gala gala success. Come on friends.
My PMing process just started. I need to send 100 messages to these all 500 members. So it might take couple of days time.

How far is Malnad from the nearest cities like bangalore, coimbatore or any other nearest city. This helps the members to decide how to go there.

You have a style of saying in a funny way. I could not stop laughing after seeing this post. Infact, I too prefer coming single.
Yeah, I was a nice idea to join with families, but one way it is good that we make them to see some new places, but if it is a TAI meet, I am sure most of the members would like to come as single, you know why !! to get some relief![[;)]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Wink.gif "Wink [;)]")

masinagudi awesome place but the stretch is very hard to climb
we can do that only in 1 or 2 nd gear

We need to know the distances details of malnad from nearest cities like bangalore, Chennai, coimbatore and any other city/town to reach malnad easily. We need this urgently which makes easy for us to freeze the venue.
Looks like Tirthahalli could be the center place where we could stay and do sight seeing around. Experts in those area can suggest/explain. Friends, being this is a team work, I would like to have participation from every one. Hope that gives a immense pleasure in such meetings.

Sorry for not being active in this thread guys but i am following this section closely.
Malnad region comes to a distance ranging from 250~300 kms from Bangalore, Places near Chickmagalur would be a great place to set up a meet as you have many places to visit and you have many hotels, lodges (accordingly). I suggest you could give a visit to the places round C'Mlore.
Kemmanagundi will be nice place in this season, rains would play a spoilsport in this region.
Regarding the people who asked the questions on Sedan suitability,yes it's a bit worrying as you could see many pot-holes, can manage.

Thanks Vishwas. If possible, if you have experience in this region, can you pls draft a travel plan for us from bangalore, say for 2 days stay.
Regarding rain, would it be raining even in Jan which we have planed.
Forgot to ask, will it be crowded during our visit [26th is holiday]. Do we need to book rooms in advance, if yes how many days before. If we could have any influence from our friends in that area it might be good.

Hey Sethu, I think now we need to form a team to take this initiative forward, so I suggest the following
Sethu : Convenor of the meet team
I am joining as a meet team member to assist Sethu on various things like PM to the members as Sethu to finalise the total list and break that into parts and give us where we share the work to send PM to the members.
So I request others also join voluntarily as members of the meet team
