Re: SilverBoy: My Chevrolet Enjoy LS - Initial Ownership Review

I already know it, Vishwas[;)]

Bangalore Guys started to Enjoy in Enjoy[clap]
Psst, that should be kept in secret!

Hi Vishwas !! Any updates ..
Took my boy for a highway ride last Saturday to Mysore and boy, it really impressed me with its road manners, less sound except the diesel grunt.

There is a small amount of turbo lag in the fifth gear and like i said earlier, need to downshift for better pick-up, else the MJD impresses us on the performance front and mileage front.

Filled 18 Liters of diesel which gave me 325 kms (To and Fro to Mysore) means the mileage figures are at 16 and the fuel bill was 1000 Rs, pretty much similar with my alto but much better in other aspects.

Gearing up for a big trip tomorrow.

Enjoy some photos: (These were taken at KRS Backwaters Mysore)

Gave my car for a wash on Monday, paid INR 250 for which the job done was good.

I don't know if this is a issue or not the water vapor kind of thing sits in the a/c vents when the blower is at full speed and a/c is switched on, answers people?

There was a mixed driving in the ghats and highways during our trip, the car climbed effortlessly in 3rd gear (nature of diesels i suppose) and needed 2nd only for steep inclines.

In highways, more power would have been welcomed. Else it is a great and comfortable mid range car and if you keep the speeds at 100kmph its nice. More than 100kmph the engine though pulls, makes you feel it's getting stressed, maybe this could get right after first engine-oil and filter change.

@ Varun We filled the tank for INR 2,200 which returned 710 kms with half time air conditioner which meant the mileage at 17kmpl [confused] is something wrong here?

Pic's are very nice !

I have the same issue in my Enjoy, I checked the temperature at the A/C vents I was surprised, it was 5 degrees. The formation of mist is due to this I guess. I also saw the mist formation on the roof a/c if A/C is on for more than 30 mins.

I already drove it till 120 on nice road while bringing it home from the show room. Dint notice any stress. Yet to discovery new things.

Superb mileage you have got, I hope to get the same. I have just driven it for 67 kms as of now. Got new tires today. What a difference it has made.

Few doubts, where is the jack & tools located. How to remove the spare wheel.

btw varun where is your enjoy?
Ha Ha, At home presently ..[lol] review will come up soon.

@Vishwas

Some how I missed this thread buddy

1. Car looks great after that side beeding and roof rails
2. 2nd row and 3rd seems have lot of let space man(amazing)

You seem to be doing lot of trips with your enjoy

My questions

1. What do you feel at the moment about your decision of Enjoy
2. How Enjoy is unique from others
3. Is FE satisfying
4. What is the family members comment about the comfort and space
5. How you differentiate your experience between Alto and Enjoy(I know my question is stupid)

How about meeting Varun560061 in Bangalore some time and present us your combined views with combined pics of both[:)]

Thanks Rakesh, body roll is felt for the rear seat passengers, else from the driver point of view there isn't much which means you can take the corners nice and easy.

Mileage as i shared is at 17.5kmpl and this is confirmed!

Pic's are very nice !

5 degrees? possible?

The jack and tools are given in hand by the showroom people, did you get it along with the warning triangle?

Thank you Gurrala ji, space is the main USP for this car

You seem to be doing lot of trips with your enjoy
Ha ha yea, even today my dad has taken it for Valparai TN.

My questions

1. What do you feel at the moment about your decision of Enjoy
Perfect and the way i wanted a car should be. So far made a good decision and was successful for making my dad to move away from Venture.

2. How Enjoy is unique from others
Good family and weekend getaway car.

3. Is FE satisfying
Currently yes.
4. What is the family members comment about the comfort and space
Car is spacious to stack 10 ppl!

5. How you differentiate your experience between Alto and Enjoy(I know my question is stupid)
No questions are stupid, from Alto to Enjoy its much comfortable and no stress found after long journeys especially back pains which i used to suffer in my alto.

Drivibility is easy in both the vehicles but Enjoy needs some planning before taking a tight turn.

Alto's plastic quality is much better than what i got in Enjoy, the plastics are very hard and something in the lines of tata.

How about meeting Varun560061 in Bangalore some time and present us your combined views with combined pics of both[:)]
The meet is contemplated, we shall do that soon sir.

Nice pictures man, Enjoy is serving its purpose to the fullest with the amazing trips you shared.
On highway runs other then power that you said would have been better did you felt for upsizing the tyres as well or the stock size is better to have.
Able to see some Enjoy on roads now and after your ownership thread, started liking this shade more.Looks classy with silver black combo.

Possible why not, I will confirm it with a thermometer.

No, they told that have placed in the car, but could not find it yet, is there any box/ place for tools & jack. Could not find how to remove the spare wheel. Read the manual too, could not find.

Thank you Gurrala ji, space is the main USP for this car

Ha Ha, Space space every where sir. You can guess the space if I can easily sit in 3rd row [lol]

The meet is contemplated, we shall do that soon sir.
Will have a photo session soon.

Re: SilverBoy: My Chevrolet Enjoy LS - Initial Ownership Review

The car ran 5200 kms as of today, there are some annoying rattling noise heard from door panels and the a/c vents emits foul smell which i checked it this evening. Have to check it.

Nice pictures man, Enjoy is serving its purpose to the fullest with the amazing trips you shared.
Thank you, furthermore now every weekend is getting occupied for the trips :P

On highway runs other then power that you said would have been better did you felt for upsizing the tyres as well or the stock size is better to have.
I felt to upsize the tyres, other than that the suspensions should be tuned much more to stop the road undulations.
