ok so i ordered one shampoo from FLIPKART. this was the second time i ordered the same shampoo.

when i opened the package , the bottle was dented + full of dust and scratches. There was no leakage whatsoever.

i just wanted flipkart to know about this so emailed them. and to my surprise the next day they sent a new bottle [thumbsup]
i didn't want a replacement but still they sent it.

2. just came back checking one VANS slipper from the showroom costing 1300 rupees. ordered it on flipkart for 750 rupees [cheers]

This time I tried SnapDeal for car care products. In short, their services aren’t as good as I expected them to be:

> The items took up to a week to arrive (One from Delhi and other from Mumbai). It’s a matter of 2 – 3 days with FlipKart.

> Their logistic partner (E-Com) mentioned false info on shipment tracking portal such as ‘delivery requested later by recipient’.

> The truth is that none of their courier delivery guys arrived at first place. And this happened twice.

> SnapDeal is outsourcing the products from other merchants such as Storeji and Xenos (For car care).

> Upon filing a complaint, their representatives hardly bother responding to the mails.

All in all, I would still prefer FlipKart when it comes to online shopping. Just wish they introduce the car care product range as soon as possible.

I have used Filpkart and ebay and both are excellent with their delivery time( 2 to 3 days) and the product quality and condition

checked footwear from the store. no discounts , no problem.

opened jabong.com and ordered nike shoes @ 25% off (coupon : FRENZY25) [:D] i saved 900 rupees. i'm waiting for the delivery since the morning [sad] they are supposed to be shipped today.

You can try yebhi.com 's 'try and buy' with cash on delivery. Order two shoes of different size (a size up/down), opt cod. When guys come, wear and see which one fits. Pay for the one you bought. They give upto 50% off sometimes. Bought twice. They have own courier.

I plan to purchase car audio products worth 30k from Snapdeal. Any issues with buying from Snapdeal? Does anybody here have experience buying expensive products from them?

Yes, I have bought products from Snapdeal(quite good). But beware of that, if something goes wrong(most probably, nothing to worry), their support is poor. Might take some time to get a reply. Whereas Flipkart's customer service is great.

Thanks Edios. The product that i was going to order went Out of stock[frustration] It's been 4 days and it's still out of stock[frustration]

My brother recently ordered a galaxy note 2 from snapdeal.Although shipping and packaging was top notch,turned out the phone was faulty.Since then he is having problem with Snapdeal's customer care,they do not care about anything.Plus the phone came with 7 day replacement guarantee,but no action has been taken by them.

I too had problem with snapdeal. The last purchase was Asus laptops 2 numbers and came without any problem.
When you tweet/post on their wall, they respond immediately as it is seen by others also. Try to address them in tweet with hashtags like#bad #online #shopping. They will reply/call back immediately and sort out the problem.

Some of the dealers selling @ snapdeals do not care about the quality. If you purchase their product, you end up in problem. I got the refund for the other product in no time. I did not even bother to call them. I tweeted and then sent an email. That is it. They called back immediately
